5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 5 April 2013

A truly fascinating and well researched book about ancient history and its survival through the ages.

I have read several books on Gnostic knowledge but this is by far the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of its genre, 29 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Along with its prequel, this sets the benchmark for this genre.
No other games are better.
Played them both in their original incarnation on the PC years ago. Such a pleasure to play them again on my Kindle HD Fire!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Another "Find the object"?, 18 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This would have been 5 stars, but there was too many hidden object puzzles. I got sick of them after the first few.
Good story and visuals. Would have been perfect with a better variety of puzzles.

Good balance of puzzles. Good story, based on historical fact.
Very enjoyable, more so being that he is my favourite scientist.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good, 13 Dec 2012

Better than The Grisly Manor, but not as good as the best (Broken Sword).
Uses similar map feature as The Quest For The Snowhills Mystery, which I would also recommend.
Of this genre available for my Kindle Fire, I would rate the ones I have tried:-
1-Broken Sword -Directors Cut
2-This game (The Lost City)
3-Snowhills Mystery
4-Grisley Manor

Well worth the money!!!!!! Enjoyed playing this with my young son. No awkward questions about murder etc, as with some other games.

Very good game. Not quite as good as Broken Sword - Directors Cut, but not far behind.
Very good puzzles on par with Broken Sword.
Very good soundtrack as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars So addictive!!, 11 Dec 2012

This review is from: Bridge Constructor (App)
I first got this for my I-Phone and thought it was amazing. I didn't manage to get all bridges with truck bonus though!
I now have got it for my Kindle Fire HD, and love it again on the bigger screen.
I recently returned from a work trip and spent a few hours in Heathrow Terminal 5. After a while I started to study the ceiling, and noticed how they used steel "cables" under tension. I wouldn't have noticed this prior to playing this, but it gave me ideas to complete the other levels.
Enjoyable, addictive and transforms your appreciation of construction and loads!
