Whilst the biography and area of occurrence are excellent the number of birds covered is rather small. many of the comer birds are not described . there is an almost complete absence of photographs ( often the best way of identification ) and the images shown, whilst highlighting the prominent features actually bear little resemblance to the live bird. Despite all that I found the book a good first time reference.
It certainly transfers photos from card to ipad. However there is little to no control . The instruction ( I jest ) is useless in that it is incomprehensible . Apart from that its not a bad piece of kit
