5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 24 Jun 2014

An amazingly sweet, funny romance featuring Celeste from Flat Out Love. If you're after a lovely romantic college romance read to make you feel warm and fuzzy, this is one of the finest I've read in quite some time.

Dannika Dark shows she can write great paranormal romance with this tale about shifters. It's a little lighter than her mageri series but still excellently written, and to be honest it was great to read a satisfying stand alone romance. She really is the best in this genre.

Great read - Kricket, unaware of her ancestry, gets dragged back to her parents' home planet by a group of military bodyguards led by the swoonworthy Trey. Lots of action, a heroine who's no wimp and a fab alpha male love interest make this a keeper.

This is extremely well written - it grabs hold of you and doesn't let go til you've finished the whole damned thing in one go! It's a relief after a whole ton of mediocre stories featuring tortured heroes. Don't get me wrong, Archer is tortured with a capital T, but this far exceeds the usual instant-love story. Their relationship is one that develops slowly, giving you time to care about their respective troubles, a truly sigh-worthy book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!, 6 Jan 2014

A lovely magical story about a girl retracing her mother's steps and encountering past scandals. There's a family feud, a romance or two and this author's trademark touch of whimsy that makes this a light but addictive read, truly wish it had gone on for longer.

Really great sweet, light college romance. It's a fairly quick read and there's no real surprise where things are headed but it's very well written, recommended.

Loved it - L M Augustine does angsty yet humorous young romance like no other. And I've read waaaay too many!! The sexual tension all but sizzles on the page here and yet it's also combined with banter, poetry, and a story about loss and moving on that's genuinely touching. This by far outstrips his first novel, but both are keepers. Buy it, if you like a good college romance I guarantee you won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great ya romance, 31 Aug 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
In a sea of mediocre ya high school romances this stands out like a little gem. No there's not a lot of suspense here but that's not what this is about, at the centre of this book is the almost non stop dialogue between the main characters which is full of dorky witty humour. Loved it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but.., 29 Aug 2013

This is a perfectly nice well written ya romance, the only problem with it is the fact that just as it gets going it stops. Literally just stops mid plot. I'm all for a series of books but I draw the line at splitting one story amongst all of them! Don't buy unless you're buying the lot.

I've read quite a few of Echol's books and this is by far my favourite. It's a wonderful original romance between two individuals who each have their own issues to deal with. The romance is a great slow builder, this is definitely a cut above the usual ya romances, and one I've 're-read 3 times already.
