Womens/Ladies Leopard Print 14Cm High Heeled Platform Court Shoes. - Leopard - UK 4

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst shoes ever, 15 Oct 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These shoes are so uncomfortable and difficult to walk in.
I wear high heals all of the time and am more than compitent in walking in very hight platformed heals. The sole of these shoes are so slippy that you don't stand a chance staying up right on a dance floor or a wet pavement.

I even spent a good 2 weeks trying to break them in to no avail.
They were bought specifically for a hen do in Glasgow, I ended up ditching them in a bin halfway through the night and walking bearfoot.

Then again you get what you pay for

5.0 out of 5 stars My Dog Loves This, 15 Oct 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My dog is allerigic to everything, and I mean everything. She has trouble with gluten and lactose, high protein foods tend to make her really gassy and smelly.
She used to break out in very sore rashes accross her belly and chew at her paws constantly , this food is fantastic as these problems are now gone. The toxic odours she used to produce are no more.
To top it all off she absoloutely loves this food. She never used to get excited about meal times and was more of a grazer. Since switching to Harringotns 3 months ago she eats every meal in full as soon as it is put in front of her.
I whole heartidly reccomend this food.

FYI she also loves the salmon roll treats that they make

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazin Boots, 15 Oct 2012
These are by far the best winter boots I have ever owned.
The fur lining keeps me warm and cozy, it's as if you are wandering around in a pair of slippers. I got mine last December in anticipation of a Christmas holiday to Poland, let me tell you that even with the temperature well into the minus my feet were never cold.
They look fantastic with dresses, skirts or jeans.
The grips are solid and unlike some other boots of this kind they have never let in water.
I would however recommend that you maintain them with the correct polish as they are a very soft leather. With all the grit and salt about in the winter it wouldn't take much to stain them.
All in all well worth the money, even after a year mine are still going strong

4.0 out of 5 stars This Rocked!, 12 Jun 2006
This review is from: Flyte (Septimus Heap) (Hardcover)
Flyte continues where Magick left off, with Jenna returning to the castle to take her position as queen and Septimus heading to the wizards tower to take up his apprenticeship under the Extraordinary Wizard; Marcia Overstrand. The Evil Dom Daniel has mysteriously returned and so the heaps and their new friends must once again defeat him. The plot is generally very good and does indeed hold many twists and turns however they can be slightly transparent.

A great kids book that can be enjoyed by all. It is fast paced, gripping and wickedly funny. Sage has included the return of all the major characters including the hilarious message rat Stanley and the ever-grumpy Bogart. The second book in the Septimus Heap trilogy is just as good as the first this is funny tale of magic and intrigue that you will not want to miss. If you liked the first one then you will love this.

The Cry of the Icemark
The Cry of the Icemark
by Stuart Hill
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! Amazing! Brilliant!, 12 Jun 2006
This review is from: The Cry of the Icemark (Hardcover)
What a delight this book was to read, it is a fantastical tale full of political intrigue, war, heroic characters and wonderful descriptions. You fall headfirst into an amazing new fantasy world that you will refuse to come away from. The characters are varied to say the least, including kings, witches, Were-folk, Vampiric royalty and giant talking Snow Leopards. You find yourself really rooting for Thirrin and Oskan, hoping they will find a way to save their tiny ice covered kingdom from the threat of invasion from an unbeatable source.

Cry of the Icemark is a funny, endearing tale of friendship and personal sacrifice that everyone should read. It is to be found in the young adults section of the bookstore but it is a book that can be enjoyed by all ages. Basically everybody should read this book and if you don't normally like the fantasy genre you should read it anyway.

Do not despair, as you undoubtedly will when you reach the end, this is not the last we have heard of Thirrin and Oskan as the very talented Stuart Hill is currently penning a sequel. YEAH!!!
