Basic Understanding of Financial Investment: Book 6 For Teens and Young Adults
by Ronald E Hudkins
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.78

1.0 out of 5 stars Unsuitable for UK market, 15 Aug. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
There is no mention anywhere that this book is for the US market and therefore completely inappropriate for my children who live in the UK. All of the tax codes, legislation etc is completely different.

I would also point out that on the side of the book, financial is spelt "FINALCIAL" this is a pretty good indicator of the quality of the book.....

2.0 out of 5 stars Not robust enough / poor value, 29 May 2015

This isn't badly made, but it isn't well made for the price. In fact it's pretty poor value for money given competative products available for much less money. The biggest disappointment is that the top shelf (pictured with 4 bottles of wine on) is not stable enough to put wine on, it needs to be much stronger as it flexes if you put wine bottles on there and they will easily fall off - part of the reason I chose this product was so I could showcase a few wines as per the picture.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unusual but great, 1 Feb. 2011
Whilst I am not a big fan of business "how to" books, this is a thoroughly engaging read. I am a self confessed "foodie" and this makes for a fascinating insight in to how truly difficult it is to run a successful restaurant. Meyer writes very well and has a fantastic line in self deprecation which is undoubtedly one of the reasons for his success.

Plenty of useful insights for any business person and I would say absolutely essential reading for anyone contemplating opening a restaurant.

Despite the book's narrow focus, I think that most people (even if uninterested in either business or restaurants) would find this book interesting and informative and a very easy page turner.
