4.0 out of 5 stars Got this for the Samsung Galaxy S wi fi 4.2 and it fits..., 4 Oct 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This is a really well made case.

It is leather and stitched in red with a soft red lining.

It fits my Samsung MP3 player well and keeps it protected.
I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars as the case is a bit slippy inside and the player slips around a little....but it does protect my player well....and its not actually made for my player so I think the fact that its slightly too big is fine....

I think that this is a good, stylish buy....

5.0 out of 5 stars Bond...Great as ever.....and a great reader too......., 27 Sep 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I have been listening to this avidly all week now and its GREAT!!!!

It is, in a way, one of the lesser known stories,as many don't like the film version....but I'm a bit of a Bond fan and its one of my favourites....

The story is about how Blofeld is developing biological weapons and that Bond, of course, must stop him....it is also a love story....of love lost and destroyed....so its also quite sad in places...

This edition is read by David Tennant and is on 8 CD's. It runs for 8 hours and is unabridged....it also contains a bonus interview with Tennant.....

So as a Bond fan I'd recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars I've fallen in love with Android........, 27 Sep 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I am a huge fan of Apple but was still really interested in trying out an Android device....and I am now a huge fan of Android too....

This device is excellent...I have owned numerous MP3 players and iPhones and this is amongst the best that I have tried.

PROS
1. Really large and effective touch screen. at 4.2 inches it is bigger than my iPhone 4.
2. The screen also looks good and responds well.
3. The device is really thin and good looking.
4. It comes with 3 extra backs for the device, a wall charger and a USB wire to connect to the computer.
5. It has a really fast processor.
6. It has 8gb of internal memory, comes with an 8gb sd card and is expandable to 32gb via an sd card! WOW!
7. The battery can be removed easily....so it could be possible to buy another one and replace the original, either for extra charge or when the original runs out.
8. The software KIES can pull in songs from iTunes. You can also use KIES air to wirelessly manage the device.(It comes pre loaded)
9. You can drag and drop onto the device.
10. Using the Amazon MP3 store app you can wirelessly listen to your Amazon downloads via the Cloud or you can download them wirelessly onto the device.
11. The app store has all the main apps that I use for my iPhone eg iPlayer, Spotify, Overdrive, Kindle etc etc.....
12. There are android apps available that I can't get via iTunes.
13. It came with a voucher for Sygic which is a SatNav....it works really well!
14. Its not an iPod touch...so a bit different from the crowd.

CONS
1. Its not an iPod touch....so maybe some people won't want it??
2. The KIES software is a bit clunky at first but bear with it!!
3. At the moment there are not as many apps as in the iTunes store...but Google play is getting there...
4. I had to set up a Google account to use it...but that was easy to do.....

So, overall....I love it...its fast, easy to use with good capacity and the apps are as good as Apple's they just haven't got quite as many yet.....so for me I would definitely buy one....Its actually tempting to just go Android!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely.....Shoes, Romance and Broken Hearts....., 17 Sep 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I really am a fan of Trisha Ashley....I find her books easy to read and they are so lovely.....

This is another in her series about a small village called Sticklepond...and just like the others I have really enjoyed it!

Tansy has always loved her great aunt and is left the family shoe shop by her....She escapes from her broken heart to revitalise the shop and is amazed to see her life changing.....

A good read...easy and engaging....if you are looking for a nice read, for an afternoon in, then try this book....I have really enjoyed the series so far and look forward to the next one....They can be read in any order, I would say, and the characters are mentioned in passing in each book.....

Just the Ticket: Ticket Stub Organizer
Just the Ticket: Ticket Stub Organizer
by Inc. Peter Pauper Press
Edition: Ring-bound
Price: £10.07

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for tickets and memories........, 9 Sep 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this for a present and the recipient was very pleased with it...

It is a hard backed ring binder and contains plastic wallets with cards inside.

The cards have lines on to write down your thoughts and the wallets are divided into two pockets per sheet. So, you can put two tickets in each side and write about them next to the ticket...

At the back of the organiser there is also a large pocket to put bigger items into or to store until you organise.

If you run out of space you can also buy extra sheets....Just the Ticket Refill Sheets...

I think that this is a great item, perfect for a present or for yourself....I have loads of ticket stubs lying about and this is the perfect way to organise your memories.....

4.0 out of 5 stars Good guide......, 9 Sep 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
First of all its important to state that I don't own photoshop...YET!

I got this guide to see if I would find it worthwhile to buy photoshop....and to be honest its convinced me to look into getting it.....BUT I don't know if the guide is completely spot on as I have read it and not used it with the programme....

It is a typical Dummies guide....well set out and easy to understand...it has colour pictures and is extremely detailed....it guides you through everything that you would need to know....it also tells you what you need to have before you buy Photoshop...what requirements the system needs etc...I needed that guidance and its been useful.....

It also shows you how to enhance your photos, control colour etc it also tells you about using your camera to take different types of shots...using RAW etc...

So, overall I am impressed ..... I think that this is a good guide.....

4.0 out of 5 stars A well read book....., 9 Sep 2012
This review is from: The Red House (Audio CD)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I've enjoyed listening to this unabridged, well read audiobook.

It is a good story and although I didn't like it as much as the Dog in the Night time....I still think its worth listening to or reading.

It is unabridged and long.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Great .... saves loads of time......, 23 Aug 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This is an easy to use, powerful iron.

I like the way that it looks, its not too big and is stylish in design. It fits on to my ordinary ironing board really easily. (Some don't as they are too big!)

But is it any good?? YES!

PROS
1.It is powerful and easily ironed heavily creased items.

2.The tank is easy to remove and refill, I think that this is an important feature in a steam iron and the ceramic plate works well.

3.This is a good buy and is able to iron many items efficiently and quickly.

CONS?? I couldn't find any. This is a great item.

So, as an investment in your day to day life I would recommend this.

Steam generating irons are brilliant for saving time and this one will pretty much iron most items that you need to iron!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great cleaner....light and easy to carry, 23 Aug 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This is a really good vacuum cleaner.

It is light and easy to carry and empty.

PROS

1. Looks good.
2. Is powerful and good at cleaning.
3. Has two filters supplied with it.
4. The HEPA filters help against allergies.
5. A good set of tools is supplied.
6. Easy to empty...really easy.
7. The filters are easy to change. ( I think that this is really important as I am not good at things like that!!)

CONS
1. May be too small for some people.

So, overall a good cleaner. I particularly like the fact that it is easy to carry as this is my main concern with vacuum cleaners as I don't like having to move them about up stairs and over furniture.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story....really exciting....., 23 Aug 2012
This review is from: Earthfall (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I loved this story. Sam is an ordinary boy until the day that Aliens arrive on Earth.
He is almost instantly alone. Everyone has been taken over and he seems to be the only one who can resist the Alien mind control.

He quickly learns to survive and is determined and clever. He is, however, very lonely.

This is a great story for adults and teens alike. I really enjoyed it and read it quickly.

Sam is a great hero and the book is full of mysteries...Why are the aliens here? Why is Sam not controlled by them? Is Sam really alone?.....

This looks to be the start of a great series and I can't wait to read the next installment...
