****ing Briliant Book that everyone should read, 14 Jun. 2014
This book is fabulous. I read it in two sittings, savouring every word. It is warm, funny, sad, interesting, thought provoking and life affirming. Some of the descriptions of prejudice are shocking, but need to be heard. They are told in such an entertaining and funny way and every instance of prejudice is challenged brilliantly. I think it should be on the national curriculum, and obligatory reading for doctors, teachers, in fact for everyone. Francesca Martinez' manifesto for life and critique of consumerism together with the story of her life and the way she and others react to her Wobbliness provided me with hours of enjoyment and interest, I can't stop thinking about the book.
