4.0 out of 5 stars delivery and content., 17 Mar. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
again, perfect delivery, good packaging and timely dispatch. The book is also a very educative, well documented, illustrated and interesting tool to understand the massacre we, humans, are committing against such wonder of nature. Should be used in schools and educational centers. Enough massacring the sharks and many other species.

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
delivery was perfect. right on time, actually before I was expecting it. The DVD is of an outstanding quality in terms of 3D imagery, unfortunately, the contents are extremely inacurate. It is a nice, pleasant to watch DVD that shows nothing of what explains in terms of animal behaviour. The tribes depicted in the DVD, living in harmony with nature... they have a website!!! geography about Costa Rica and contents about Guanaste's National Park, such as trees species are again not accurate. And please... to say that the best nature reserves are in the Third World, in countries striving to survive and fighting for food... Costa Rica abolished the Army back in 1948, it is actually the only country in the Americas without Army and one of the very few in the world. Is that the DVD's editor notion of a Third World country?. Utterly offensive. But, again, this has nothing to do with the great delivery, perfec package the DVD arrived with. Congrats to KSM!!! Delivery and KSM deserves FIVE STARS.

1.0 out of 5 stars Marc Quinn book, 1 Nov. 2013
This review is from: Marc Quinn (Paperback)
Unfortunately the book arrived in very poor conditions. So bad that I want it to be replaced. First, the covers arrived broken and unglued from the book. The pages are on the verge of falling apart and attached to the last page there is a black envelope that supposedly contained a reproduction or poster or something related with one of the works pictured in the book. The envelope was empty. The package arrived perfectly fine and the book properly packed and protected so this issue has nothing to do with transportation. Please let me know how to proceed
Kind regards

Dangerous Marine Animals
Dangerous Marine Animals
by Matthias Bergbauer
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous seas, 14 Sept. 2012
A great, useful, well documented and even better illustrated book about marine life and its perils. These fabulous books should be available also in PDF versions to be downloaded and carried in the iPad when travelling. A few books about reef fish in the Indo Pacific are now available for downloading and although they will never be a substitute to the printed edition are a very helpful tool when living on board.

5.0 out of 5 stars Diving in raja ampat, 14 Sept. 2012
Books dedicated to diving or travelling to remote and very specific areas of the Globe are scarce. Better to do something more average... And useless. When I bought "diving in Raja Ampat" 2 years ago was fascinated with the contents, and how precise the book was. This revised and more lavish edition is a must have and a collector's book for those in the search of the unique, exotic and unknown. There are still places in the world like these and this book is a perfect and exciting example.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cocos island, 14 Sept. 2012
Great tips for a unique yet remote and not well known diving world class destination. A pitty that there is not any updated version after 1992. But being probably the only book ever dedicated only to diving in Cocos, is definitively a must have.

1.0 out of 5 stars 2D vs 3D, 25 Jun. 2011
I had to order this item twice and return both. the 3D feature film "jumps" whereas the extras and sneak previews in 3D are perfect, the movie is not. the funny thing is that a few weeks ago, I bought a new copy here in Spain... and has exactly the same problem. can't be the HD DVD player, because everything else I have in 3D works flawlessly. so, the question is:
is it just a shipping that went wrong? has somebody else experienced these problems with this film? it is extremely annoying to sit in front of the screen, and start seeing double images, non-stop jumps in every scene, and something else... if I do remove the glasses, I can watch the 3D version of the film and, it looks perfect as in 2D. it's very weird.
what is that? a fake 3D? apart from that, amazon service was impeccable. but bottom line... I can't enjoy this film as it was conceived. frustrating,
