Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you're thinking about buying this item from this seller (Bentham Ltd) then you may want to read this first.

We ordered this "New" laptop which came through pretty quickly to be honest. However when we opened the outer box we noticed the seal for the laptop box was damaged, it had quite clearly been opened before. Upon inspecting the laptop itself we noticed a couple of small scratches on it, nothing very major however not what you'd expect from a brand new product. However what was most disturbing was that the cover for the RAM & hard drive was bent and damaged. The screw securing it was marked so had clearly been unscrewed before. I found this extremely concerning as there is no reason why a seller should open the laptop box, let alone open the compartment holding the RAM and Hard Drive unless they were planning to tamper with it. Anyway we decided there was a chance it could be a one off, perhaps an item that has been previously returned. So we contacted seller who to be fair to them communicated well at first. They offered us a refund however I asked for an exchange as it said there were 10 laptops available. I stated quite clearly, several times, that we only wanted and exchange if we were going to get a brand new laptop, with the box completely sealed. The seller said this wouldn't be a problem and offered the exchange. So we sent laptop back and heard nothing for a few days. Eventually we contacted the seller who then turned round and said there's no boxes that haven't been opened!! The good thing was they refunded us in full (which I guess is the least you'd expect). However we find this very dodgy, why would all the laptop boxes have been opened? And why have they been tampering with the RAM & Hard Drive compartment? I can only guess but if you are considering buying anything from Bentham Ltd then just be very very careful. You would be best off paying a bit extra to get it somewhere else to be honest.

All this aside the laptop itself looks good but a bit over priced for what you get inside it. Stylish but you'd get more from a HP.
