5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely romantic festive nugget, 26 Nov. 2014

A perfect short story to curl up with on a depressing, dark evening - wry, funny, and just the right about of romantic

It was great to catch up again and find out what had happened since the end of Sealed with a Kiss - the only question is what will happen next?

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful - I haven't laughed so much in ages, 6 May 2014

Another cracking read from Tim Moore - an incredibly funny read about what happens when a middle aged bloke decides to try and ride the course of the hardest Giro ever on an antique bike

I haven't enjoyed a book this much in a long time

Another fabulous novel from the talented Ms Clegg - can't wait for part 2 or her long-awaited Ripper book

Beautifully told with exquisite period details but characters made real and who draw you in - hard to put down so be careful when you start reading

5.0 out of 5 stars I don't often pre-order & I wasn't disappointed, 20 Feb. 2013

I adored the first book in the series and spent my birthday money pre-ordering this one - it builds on the fabulous alt-world of the first book and let's the characters develop further

Can't wait for the next installment

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant steampunk romp, 20 Feb. 2013

I had been waiting ages for this to arrive on my Kindle and I wasn't disappointed - Gail Carriger has built an entirely believable world with a feisty heroine based up in the clouds

And even better, some favourite characters make appearances too

Loved it

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully written - unputdownable, 20 Feb. 2013

It was probably a mistake to start this at 9pm on a school night - the story draws you in and before you know it it'll be after midnight me you'll struggle to put it down

Compelling characters, beautiful scenery and a story that pulls you right in

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful blog you'll want to keep reading, 5 Sept. 2012
I've been following Rachel's blog for the last few years - it has beautiful photographs, great insight into family life and is eloquently written

The only trouble is that you'll find yourself wanting to steal her life, or at least her new sideboard!

Another wonderful book from Melanie Clegg - it grips you from the first page and holds onto you until the very end

Melanie's enthusiasm for the period shines through in the detail and carefully researched context and yet her characters are likeable and realistic

5 out of 5 and can't wait for the next book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, frank and a great read, 9 Feb. 2011
Emily writes a great blog - its shows the funny sides of life as a working mother to three and varies between making you laugh out loud or read it between your fingers

Take 5 minutes to sit back and enjoy this blog

5.0 out of 5 stars A great blog, 9 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Mummy Whisperer (Kindle Edition)
The Mummy Whisperer blog is a great blog - it gives an insight on how Lisa's coaching techniques translate into the real world and demonstrates that Lisa is a real mum living a real life and that she is able to help real mums living a real life

A great read I thoroughly recommend
