5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent router, 13 Sep 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
One of the best routers i have used. installed, up and running in three minutes. behaves a lot better and more responsive than the old netgear it replaced.

the admin pages are not perfect but everything you need is there and lets face it very few routers seem to have a good admin interface they all involve having to familiarise yourself with them. liked the fact that initially you select your isp from a list and it sets the basic parameters, you supply user and password click and its done, just wifi and mac addresses left to do.

the only bother i had was checking the firmware version against the web site to determine if it was up to date, the site uses date to identify the firmware the unit has a version plus a data in reverse format, not immediately obvious.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but..., 13 Sep 2012

had this product for a while as i wanted multiple ports at the remote end.

first thing i noticed was problems copying files to my storage box locked the network and i figured it was either the router or the storage box so put up with having to reset router every time i copied files over, which was only once a week so not a major inconvenience.

after five months the triple port adapter failed and was sent back and eventually refunded. in the meantime i bought a Netgear XAVB5004 Powerline 4-Port AV 500 Kit for Home Theater as my old 200 adapters were not strong enough to watch iplayer on and the weekly copy took forever... not looked back since, eventually replaced the router too as it is old.

the copying problem and eventual failure aside they worked well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does not do what it says on the tin..., 16 Mar 2012

had the pump a while now and it has never fully worked, spurts and splutters rather than delivering a shot.

cleaned it out ready to return it and as i was pumping water through it it worked perfectly. put it back into cherryactive and spurts and splutters again. no way you can prove faulty unless they use cherryactive.

my opinion - do not bother, the hassle of having to return and prove a fault on such a low price item is not worth it. the whole point of it is not to have to measure out the concentrate, three pushes and your done, spurt and splutter means you still have to measure so may as well pour it into a measuring cup till i find a bottle and pump that is fit for the job and transfer the cherryactive into it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth it, 18 Nov 2010

Decided to update my system and added the Corsair Force 60 as a first step. Imaged my existing boot drive over and the system started up on the Corsair no problems, quite the opposite, boot times are now a fraction of the time taken using the old spinning hard drive with the added plus of silence.

fantastic, we have a small back yard with little space to put a line, the folding frame is perfect. The instructions need attention but a search on the web to find a picture of what it should look like helped it make sense.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, 8 Jan 2006

This review is from: Pergolesi:Stabat Mater (Audio CD)
I am a fan of the Pergolesi Stabat Mater and have a few versions. My first was the Kings Consort version with Gillian Fisher and countertenor Michael Chance which is excellent and has an amazing clarity and purity to it.
This version is wonderful, it is emotional not technical. When I play it and other people hear it they stop listen and always ask what it is, take the details and head off to buy a copy, this happens without fail every time and that says it all.
I like the whole of this version but the rendition of 'Inflammatus et accensus' is stunning, the two voices weaving and rising out of each other never fails to move me and though I have listened to it many times it does not lose its beauty with the repetition.
