5.0 out of 5 stars Really great little bit of kit, 24 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I never normally write reviews but I was so impressed with this little stereo that I felt to. First off, it is a well built study bit of kit, lighter than I expected and very portable. Second, it is super easy to set up and use. Third, (and most important for me) the sound quality is really excellent. Obviously it's not going to be the same as separates or a larger more powerful unit but for its size & price it really punches above its weight, and unlike so many stereos it doesn't distort at high volumes n.b. When I first set it up I was sitting right in front of it whilst listening and obviously didn't get the full quality of the sound. However, stepping back you are really able appreciate it and it fills my (pretty big) bedroom fine. Fourth, it looks good - not the most important one for me but nice to have the full package. If I could change anything it would be to have manual control over the sound levels rather than the more basic "sound effect" pre-sets that they have which are a bit basic but for the amazon price (Sony has it listed for £229 which I think is a bit much) i'm very happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Chord Book, 30 April 2006
This chord book is great, so often small chord books only have a few chords in them and miss out some of the most important ones or you get some enormous encyclopedia with 10,000 chords. This is perfect - 1000 chords, is all you will need for quite sometime! But also a short lesson on chord construction and a fingerboard chart of the mandolin neck, which is always useful. Easy to understand and find chords. Even has a few pages of sheet music at the back if you fancy writing a song once you've learnt some chords. I've given it a 5 but do have one complaint, it probably would be better if it was ringbounnd as easier to leave open at a page but at the price £3.95 you can't really complain. Get it. You won't be sorrry

5.0 out of 5 stars Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah, 13 July 2004
Seriously now, when i saw the price of these headphones i thought ARE THEY SERIOUS? But as soon as i plugged these in to my cd player i thought yeeeah these are the ones. So if you are like i was, searching through loads of reviews and trying to make up your mind as to how much to spend, then look no further my friend. These are the only headphones anyone should ever have in an ideal world, they are worth the extra money and did amazon allow me to give them 10 stars, believe me i would.
