5.0 out of 5 stars She's only gone & done it again........, 30 Nov 2007

.....& released a truly wonderful & 'must have' album. Although the signing to a major label has meant a more polished production the big strong soulful voice is still there in all it's glory. Too many great tracks to mention & if you do enjoy go back a buy 'Soulsinger' & 'Feeling Orange Sometimes Blue' for two of the best albums of the last years & if you get the chance try & catch the amazing live performances of this true talent.

5.0 out of 5 stars the best album of 2007.........., 30 Nov 2007

.....who would have thought that Adriana would hae returned with an album even better than her debut 10 years ago. The sound is pure summertime with jazzy brazillian grooves underneath that sweet clear souful voice. There is not a duff track on the album from the sublime 'Hey Now' to my personal fave 'Undercover Lover'........just buy the album & smile.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh yes, this is a soul album......, 13 Nov 2007

.....of the highst caliber. Angie comes back on a new label with her most complete album since Black Diamond, if not her best ever.....not that the others have lacked quality but this is soul and then some. There are three top drawer uptempo tracks in the form of 'Baby'(with the wonderful clean up woman Betty Wright), 'Play Wit It' & 'My People' featuring James Ingram. The grooves get no better then the soothing 'Pop Pop' & 'Here We Go Again' whilst 'Happy Being Me' finishes off the album simply with Angie's voice as a clear as the sky on a winter's night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soul Brother comes up trumps again..........., 13 Nov 2007

.......with yet another fantastic collection in their series of rare modern soul. Whether you're a soul connoisseur or just a music lover you will find treasure upon treasure within this album. Personal favourites include the classic 'Trying To Get Next To You', the melodic 'Feel Good' and the deeply soulful 'Electrified Love'. Volume 4 will be eagerly awaited & i'm sure the boys in Putney will already be digging & will not disappoint.
