Philips HD4671/20 Brushed Metal Energy Efficient Kettle, 3000 Watt - 1.7 Litre
Philips HD4671/20 Brushed Metal Energy Efficient Kettle, 3000 Watt - 1.7 Litre
Price: £39.00

1.0 out of 5 stars Leaks after time., 17 Aug 2014
As a few other people have mentioned, the kettle leaks. We were pleased with it originally but have had it just over a year and there is always now a puddle on the work top where it has leaked from the base. It's quite dangerous as it keeps shorting and cutting out the electricity. Will not be buying again.

Ravensburger Bob the Builder 4 in a Box Jigsaw Puzzles
Ravensburger Bob the Builder 4 in a Box Jigsaw Puzzles
Price: £5.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Good puzzles but hard to sort, 31 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good quality puzzles but they're all jumbled up in the box with no colour coding on the back. With so many pieces of similar size, it's really quite tedious to sort each time. A shame because it would otherwise be top marks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great highchair, 16 Dec 2012

Very versatile in terms of height options and straps- could have four month old in it who was pretty well supported. Good to have two tray options and especially helpful that tray come right off for easy cleaning. All I all a great buy. Only slight downside is it's slightly more tricky cleaning the padded seat.

1.0 out of 5 stars Contradictory, patronising and misinformed, 14 Aug 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Apart from a few good tips to help you read your baby's body language and respond to their cues, this book simply serves to stress out parents whose baby doesn't respond to an EASY routine. She consistently contradicts herself (one page saying feed exclusively from one breast and the next page saying to offer other breast if baby's emptied first; saying don't clockwatch whilst breastfeeding but then offering a sample diary schedule to fill out times, lengths and frequency of feeds!?) and her claim that babies of 10lbs or more should be able to go 8 hours through the night without needing a feed is just ludicrous.

Outdated advice that seems to ignore instinct and just makes you feel inadequate and guilty for doing things like rocking your 1 week old to sleep or letting your newborn fall asleep whilst breastfeeding. Bin it!

What Not to Expect When You're Expecting
What Not to Expect When You're Expecting

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money if you bought 'Bring it on baby', 7 Jun 2012
This book is EXACTLY THE SAME as 'Bring it on, Baby'. The publishers have just changed the title and promoted it as a new release which is extremely misleading as it actually came out in 2010. I highlighted this to Amazon who said they would look at how it was promoted on their webpage but so far nothing has been changed. In fact they are still offering a 'price for both' and say that customers bought these two together, which is ridiculous as no one will want to buy two copies of exactly the same book. So, in short, don't bother if you've already bought older version - it's not even that good a read!

Bring It On, Baby: How to have a dudelike pregnancy
by Zoe Williams
Edition: Paperback
Price: £11.58

3.0 out of 5 stars This is the same book as 'what not to expect when you're expecting', 2 Jun 2012

Just to say, the book's not bad. Pretty insightful and very amusing but I wanted to warn other customers not to bother purchasing the 'new' Zoe Willliams publication 'what not to expect when you're expecting'. It is EXACTLY (and I mean word for word with no updates at all) the same book as 'Bring it on, baby'. Williams has just renamed it - maybe in an attempt to cash in on the recent film under a similar name. The fact that it's labelled as a new release and is even promoted as being able to buy together with the older edition, is extremely misleading and dishonest. I wanted to put this review on the 'what not to expect when you're expecting' book reviews but am unable to leave comments there as it's not yet published.

Women's Super Sport Bra
Women's Super Sport Bra
Price: £18.66 - £29.71

2.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable, 2 Jan 2012
This review is from: Women's Super Sport Bra (Misc.)
Disappointed with this sports bra. I'm a 34b/c normally but the medium seemed too restrictive. Think it's maybe a little ambitious and unrealisitc to have sizes 32A through to 36C all included under the size of medium.

It was also really uncomfortable and left a red mark after running in it for only half an hour which is still sore the day after. Definitely wouldn't go for this brand again.
