Toby Fletcher's Fly-Away Tree
Toby Fletcher's Fly-Away Tree
by Nicky Jones
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking read for the whole family!, 11 Nov 2013
This is a highly imaginative novel which sees Toby Fletcher discovering the special qualities of the tree in his garden when he rescues a blackbird and gains access to a parallel universe. The real world and Avia become tangled when Toby's sister is captured by the evil Almeena Magpie, and the fact that Toby's bullies get their comeuppance when they are pulled into the action is a satisfying twist. Readers will enjoy hearing about the different species of birds in Avia - particularly the starling law enforcers! The narrative is injected with a good dose of action and adventure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wneger Swissgear Laptop Case - Quality piece of kit, 22 Jun 2009
The case is a good size, with plenty of room for papers as well as your laptop and is really sturdy not like some of the cheap rubbish.
A good size pocket on the front too for extra bits and pieces like your charger is always useful.

All in all a good case at a good price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not a climbing fan, but couldn't put this down, 1 May 2008
I am not a fan of climbing at all, but heard a brief amount about this story and decided to get it - I was not disappointed. Unlike some of the more negative reviews I found the explanations of climbing terminology and processes easy to understand and quite straight to the point.

The book avoids filling spaces with waffle and useless snippets just to fill pages and had me gripped from start to finish. A really brave man, who had to use all of his skill and then all of his courage.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great item for quick quality snaps for amateurs., 30 April 2008
I received this item as a gift, but I have to say it is fantastic. The automatic settings allow you to literally start taking photo's as soon as you have charged the battery. Small enough to fit in your pocket this camera can easily be taken on a night out or taken with you wherever you go. There are loads of settings which I'm sure will be useful for those wanting to develop their photography skills and improve their photo's.

Only down side is really the lack of a protective case, but these can be purchased reasonably cheaply.

If you want to be taking really impressive professional photo's every single time then buy a professional camera, but that's not what this is designed for.

All round a great item for a good price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive and all encompassing, 28 Oct 2007
This review is from: Marketing Management (Hardcover)
This book is a very comprehensive text, covering a huge number of areas within marketing to an appropriate and strategic level without using any ridiculous marketing lingo. As the pervious reviewer suggests, this book is a very good guide for both students and throughout ones professional career. I would highly recommend this text for professionals and students studying at the Professional Certificate level or above.
