Noel would be proud, 12 April 2009
I loved this film - witty dialogue courtesy of Noel Coward, frosty English delivery (thankyou, Colin Firth and Kirstin Scott Thomas) and eye candy in the form of Ben Barnes and Jessica Biel. Most importantly, the tongue-in-cheek elements keep it strictly Coward: from the jazzed-up modern soundtrack to the can-can and the incident with the dog. Even if period dramas aren't your cup of tea, I bet it makes you chuckle to yourself. Easy viewing indeed.
