Cristina Garcia Rodero - Transtempo
by Rosa Martinez
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £56.95

5.0 out of 5 stars Old Spain, 21 Jun. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Cristina García Rodero is one of the most important photographers in Spain (She is a Magnum photogrpaher). Her masterwork "España Oculta" and this new book "Transtempo" show images of an old Spain, a country which is now vanishing into modernity. You'll find superb B&w pictures of religious festivals and other ceremonies.

The Making of Landscape Photographs: A Practical Guide to the Art and Techniques
by Charlie Waite
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars A classical point of view, 25 Oct. 2010

If you like landscape photography, you will enjoy this book. It is written before digital photography, but shows this kind of non-technical information which is really important to improve your landscape pictures. Forget technical bla-bla and concentrate in ligth and composition.

Digital Macro Photography
Digital Macro Photography
by Ross Hoddinott
Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Too simple, 18 Oct. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's a general introductory book on digital photography, with very little about macro, so if you have some knowledge about macro photography, search another book if you want to improve.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK book, but not outstanding, 14 Sept. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have enjoyed the format of "Light and Land" books, but this one does not reach the high level others do. It is an interesting book, but is centered only in Clive Minnitt and Phil Malpas works, lacking the nice photos taken by other "Light and Land" photographers.
