5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious best of., 30 April 2013
Extremely funny, witty and acerbic without becoming too much of a 'I hate the world' tirade which this sort of humour can sometimes lapse into. This is a big collection, although it does suffer some what from lacking the flow(/coming back to things later to good effect) of his full length dvd's which I feel is one of his best qualities. I couldn't really mark it down for this though, as this is part and parcel of a 'best of' dvd.

Well worth it if you want a condensed collection of Dylan Moran's funniest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely brilliant, 5 April 2011
This review is from: The Gun Seller (Paperback)
To say this book is brilliant is a criminal understatement. From the reviews posted below those who don't seem to have enjoyed it either
A) Are American
B) Thought it was going to be fry and laurie/house
C) Thought it was going to be either deeply intellectual or 'grown up'/house

It is an action book which pulls with the best of them, mixed in with some laugh out loud comedy, but without it taking away from the great story. It truly is a guys book, in the truest sense of the word-lots of sex, violence, guns and sarcasm. Some may say its very un-pc and a bit shallow, but its a hell of a lot deeper than most in the genre and beats the 'SAS TRUE LIFE STORY' parade in terms of action.

As others say, it was written in 1998 so expect it to be a tad dated (although not very much), and some of the jokes may be lost on younger/non-british audiences, but it really doesn't get in the way of a fantastic story with great comedy and a refreshing honesty about it all.
