3.0 out of 5 stars Maybe I just don't get it!?, 30 Mar. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Wounded Rhymes (Audio CD)
I bought this album after hearing I follow rivers and as I also have the previous album. Unfortunately this second album is very much like the first one in that there are gems here but they are mixed in with some quite mediocre tracks. inconsistent is probably my best description. I'm sure some will rave on about her work but I would take 50 odd % out to leave a more solid body of work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great computer, 23 April 2013

This is a great bit of kit. very clear menus mean you cant go wrong. Data is good although GPS pick-up reception wise can sometime take too long when you want to just go.

Does what it should and does it very well. Make sure you get a 'in front' style mount for safety.

As with my review of the 2011Bianchi Short-sleeved Cycling Jersey Strap Suit (XXXL) be careful. This may not be what you expect. Do not get taken in like I was by the keen pricing. I should have spent more time looking at the features. no gel tape to stop it riding up, no proper care labels and definitely no makers label. I would return it but the cost makes no sense.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bit of kit but difficult to see the button labels, 23 April 2013

I've used a Edge 200 for a while now but had a heart rate monitor and watch and could not get two sets of data to merge so decided to upgrade. The extra facilities here are good although I'm still getting to grips with it. My only real criticism is that the printing alongside the buttons is too small. The 200 had symbols, this has very small printing. Not good when you are doing some speed!

All in all it gives me what I need re data as I ride with the now added bonus of heart rate plus ambient temperature. Setting up the display as you need it can take time but it's time well spent. Just wish I could see which button does what function!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great safety wise but make sure you check your handlebar diameter first. No more than 1-1/4" (31.8mm), 23 April 2013

I've been using the rubber band solution for keeping the Edge mount on my stem but found that I spent far too much time looking at the road and not where I was going! This solves the problem by placing the computer further in front meaning you can concentrate on what's ahead. Sounds simple and it is except you need to make sure you can get the diameter of your handlebar right.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good keyboard but difficult to keep paired, 23 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have not used the keyboard much but it's really quite good. You get quite good feedback even for something of this price and it's not flimsy either. The angle the Nexus ends up at is just right for typing.

My rating is only 3 as I keep having trouble keeping it paired. you have to make sure the keyboard is fully charged or else you can't pair it with the Nexus.

Summary; Good keyboard but a bit of refinement with the connectivity would help.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not great, 22 Oct. 2011
What can you really say about a memory stick!? It does what you expect I.e. provides a good sized portable storage solution. I bought Sandisk because of the encryption software but the device is permanently attached to my work pc to provide a separate storage location or drive so encryption is an added bonus should I need it.

The stick is quite large compared with others so is very evident. It also seems to take a while to show up in Windows explorer on first access so would not be classed as super fast.

All in all it's a good product like all Sandisk stuff but, although great value, the size and speed issues prevent it being a great product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for storage but remote access is hard work., 21 Nov. 2008
I still have my 2Big Disk but it has been hard work.

RAID 1 gives you great security and this is why I bought it but as a disk for remote access I would suggest you look at the Mini Home Edition if you are a novice. Even LaCie will tell you this!

The set-up for the 2Big is difficult and a lack of reasonable security measures meant I had to buy a new router so I could use VPN.

If used solely as a storage device this will work perfectly so long as you don't turn it on and off too many times. If you do you may have to switch off and back on to get both disks running.

The disk spins continuously (can't find out how to get it to spin down) and will require careful placement somewhere ventilated or else the fan kicks in and it becomes noisy. Don't use this in your living room, it's too noisy!
