Well, to slightly disagree with previous review I have watched this movie many times and it still holds a fascination for me. It might be due to the fact I love these kind of movies, romantic adventures where the two leads are played by a male and female with chemistry between them. All in all a great, yes great, movie and well over due in coming to DVD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great movie, 21 Feb 2007
This review is from: The Deep [DVD] (DVD)
Like the above review I first saw this movie when I was a kid. I saw it on the big screen which made the underwater scenes even better. Wish they would bring it out at the movies again for a trip down memory lane. Definetely worth the price of a ticket, or in this case well worth the purchase price of the DVD.

I've watched this movie many times over the years. I have also read the book many times and have the theme tune by Donna Summer. I'm a bit of a fan. Watch it and you will be too.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is how to write a screenplay, 13 Jan 2007
This is not a book on story, or archetypes, but a great guide on how your screenplay should be written. That's your screenplay, not how your story should be written. This book is for someone who is ready to write, and all the questions that will come up about what you should put on the page, and how you should put it on the page, will be answered.

If you are ready to write your screenplay this is the book you will need at hand to dip into everytime you need to know how to formatt a telephone call or how not to give stage or acting directions to the actor.

Extremly helpful book you'll keep referring to as you write.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read., 1 Jan 2007
This is the kind of book I will be going back to time and again. Aristotle's Poetics are broken down so a layman can understand them with out having to actually grapple with Aristotle's version unaided.

A nice comfortable read that explains what we do not realize we already know.

Robinson Crusoe (Penguin Popular Classics)
Robinson Crusoe (Penguin Popular Classics)
by Daniel Defoe

Just a quickie. Some of the above reviews remind us of how slow and boring this book can be and how repetitive. Well, guys, that's the point. How exciting do you suppose being stranded alone on an Island can be? What would you do to pass the time? Defoe takes us back to a time before T.V etc. Your day would be boring, although eventually menial tasks save ones sanity. Time does pass slowly as it looses relavance. It's not a classic for nothing.
