5.0 out of 5 stars Journey Affirming!!!, 18 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Initiation (Paperback)
I've been on a journey for a while now trying to understand prophetic dreams and synchronicity that started about 3 years ago. This book has become a bible of amazing information. I highly recommend this book to anyone on a personal spiritual journey, with many questions, the answers are in these pages! I love this book...

5.0 out of 5 stars Erm... BRILLIANT & DISTURBING, 21 Jun. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Suppressed Invention (Paperback)
I love books that encourage you to research the topics covered so you yourself know that your not reading a rather entertaining but horrific work of fiction. By the time I finish the book (yes, I'm reviewing before I've even finish) I will wish it was for my entertainment for to believe we live in such a morally polluted world of ego driven industrialists with no care for human life or indeed the planet we live on, there's only one way I can see out... another flood.
Now don't get me wrong I'm pro human but it seems as though we're bogged down in so much corruption that the only way the planet can save herself and the human race can begin again is to drastically reduce the world populace, the planet literally 'takes us back to the beginning'. The trouble with that of course, it happened once before and most of the records of all that we'd accomplished as a species were lost. The human race now goes through another 'great forgetting' of the woes that went before and ultimately the lesson we were meant to remember.
Having read many other books before this one and cultivating an understanding of the 2012 'legend' of total rebirth I feel the predicted up coming changes will be for the better this time. If you're interested in understanding more I highly recommend The Source Field by David Wilcock to truly be given a grasp of the world we live in spiritually but with hard science to back it up.
It will take the edge off the feeling you're being manipulated and there's little you can do about it.
We may not need to worry as the Universe it seems has her eye on the situation.

5.0 out of 5 stars "The man we're looking for is Hermann Kermit Warm"., 13 Mar. 2012
This review is from: The Sisters Brothers (Paperback)
With a name like Hermann Kermit Warm I needed to know who the hell this guy was and why he was being written about.
Not only did I find the back of book snippet intriguing, I loved the cover and it really does reflect the cool writing style displayed here, the story is solid and well written, though the pace of the story unravels quietly it creeps up on you and as you reach the last page you realise you've just been treated to a western masterpiece!
Love love love this book for so many reasons, buy it for fun (cause it's funny!) buy it for Christmas (cause they'll love it!) buy it and support great story telling at it's finest!

5.0 out of 5 stars EXISTANCE IN A NUTSHELL!!!, 26 Nov. 2011

I thought my life was interesting and sexy as Hollywood just keep making movies about my life....but this!
THIS IS PORN FOR THE THINKING MAN, WOMAN, WEREWOLF, VAMPIRE! When you read about the holy grail, secrets of the ages or long lost knowledge buried in some tomb, vault or a sacred book, holy relic or talisman that is being closely guarded, information witheld by governments, corporations and religions that claim superiority this is probably what they're trying to hide.
To keep the masses in the dark about the real potential for mankind. The HIDDEN truth about the power we really possess and our rightful place in the Universe and indeed amoung the stars. It may seem like a bold statement but I had a real life Source Feild moment and only recognised it as so after listening to the audio and a week later experiencing something which was completely unexpected and practically jumps off the pages of the Source Field book!!!
Example: The simplicity of prayer and it's true meaning, thought by many (myself included) to be directed at a higher being, thanks for the opportunity to eat this fabulous food etc etc but then the Source Feild made perfect sence. What if the origin of prayer is to thank the food itself, vegetable, animal, mineral for the sacrifice it has made to die so you (the consumer) may live.
It is an exchange of energy, in turn the energy source (the food) that you prayer/thank becomes energised to your total wellbeing and is now supercharged to feeding your body AND your soul.
All I can say is, buy the book, audio however you like it and be AMAZED as I was at the lesson you're learning.
Most importantly of all, use this information to develope and expand your understanding of the world around you to include the Source Feild/God/Allah/Yahweh and realised that EVE-RY-TH-ING IS CONNECTED, we're all just pieces of God. With that kind of information, imagine what you can achieve!?

"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it." -Mother Teresa

Having strange or heavy dreams in a place like Forks is nothing compared to what happens when you're awake!
But often I have trouble interpreting dreams that feel like signs. For example, just before I met Edward I had dreams about death, rebirth and wolves.....EXACTLY!
So I purchsed this book about a week ago, it looks friendly to the layman and easy to use, it's amazing.
A few nights ago I dreamt of horses, a ranch of horses, I'm stood not far watching them run free when a character in my dream rides up to see me on a beautiful steed. As I woke that morning I had the feeling I had to remember the dream. I looked up the reference in the book and low and behold a rather accurate forboding.
'You're about to embark on an unexpected adventure and will have to move very quickly once it's initiated.
It's time to free yourself from those physically and emotionally constricting aspects of your life.
You need to call upon reserves of stamina and strength to get you through this ordeal.
You're much more powerful than you think you are.
This situation requires strong warrior energy, balanced with sensitivity, patience and compassion.
Teamwork with your family, friends or community is important right now.
You're very well protected from any negative or harsh psychic attacks, you're being called to investigate other spiritual realms and dimensions through meditation, a vision quest or shamanic journeying.'
It may not mean a whole lot on a review page of a website but what's happening to me right now (in real life by the way and not my pen name character) is two steps away from something out of Twilight (pick any scene you want) and it's all my own fault. I opened this can of whoey by being spiritualy curious, reading related books, talking to people about their beliefs and relationship to God/Gaia/The Source and now 'IT'S' gunning for me til my last chapter.
I think this book may just save my curly bacon, it may just save yours. If your looking for your spiritual animal/totem (I followed my chinese birth year and looked at the on!), interpreting dreams or needing guidence from an animal spirit this book is for you. It's beautifully done easy to use.
Watch this space is all I have to say for the coming weeks, if you don't hear from me again you know my Twilight has turned into Paranormal Activity or perhaps a scene from The Fourth Kind!

When I'm not studying my butt off for school, hanging out with Werewolves or getting engaged to Vampires (I'm busy I know!) I'm reading and a good thing too, there's so much information on the amazing world we live in just waiting to be discovered.
BRILLIANT book, that brings spirituality and science together. If you want something informative about science and spirituality and it's implications for modern medicine then this is your book, be prepared to be inspired.
I finished this in two days, I drank the words....enjoy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Imagine being told: You've contracted Ebola., 8 Nov. 2011
This review is from: Valhalla Rising [DVD] (DVD)
I always start reviews with jest, it's just the way I am... but this is serious.
I'm usually.... open minded, unbiased and complimentary of new styles and forgiving if it generally doesn't entertain, as you do, I looked on the reverse cover for a tantalising preview, it read:
1000 AD, for years, One Eye, a mute warrior of supernatural strength, has been held prisoner by the Norse chieftain Barde. Aided by Are, a boy slave, One Eye slays his captor and together he and Are escape, beginning a journey into the heart of darkness. On their flight, One Eye and Are board a Viking vessel, but the ship is soon engulfed by an endless fog that clears only as the crew sights an unknown land. As the new world reveals its secrets and the Vikings confront their terrible and bloody fate, One Eye discovers his true self.
With an actor such as Mads Mikkelsen, you really can't go wrong......wrong.
This review is scant at best and probably outlines what the writer originally wanted to achieve, it hides from the reader whats really in store, actually it took the biscuit. After a decent start I was willing to carry on watching it just to say I'd at least seen it through to the end... but then it came. A monumental plot divide (that moment when most people switch off cause the hint from their brain tells them it's pants) I was so shocked and horrified that my hand failed to connect to the remote. Something bad happens to this potentialy good movie and it doesn't recover unless you have some dark fetish that compels you want to buy it and have it in your movie collection.
If you've ever watched 8MM with Nicolas Coppola Cage, it's like that, somewhere between the preview and the emergency makes you want to take a bath, erase the movie from your memory and watch Sex in The City 2 (yes SITC!) to make sure your totally unconcious and get a good nights sleep.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect marriage for Mankell & Branagh!, 7 Nov. 2011
I'm spending time with another man. He writes, I read, I melt with satisfaction.
It's been hard keeping our affair under wraps and tough dividing my time between two men let alone three, if it wasn't for the fact my boyfriend can't read my mind and my best friend spends most of his time as a giant dog I just wouldn't get away with it.
I was introduced to Henning Mankell a few Christmas's ago and wow, amazing, brilliantly paced and plotted, he sets my mind on fire but keeping the magical slow, rich and brooding pace that is typically Sweden it seems.
Having read The Faceless Killers I was keen to have more, it wasn't until I read this book that I realised I'd met a master of crime, I've yet to read an equal and if anyone is out there with suggestions then please let me know. I can only say this, buy this book, not kindle but the book, infact the series.
You won't want to part with it (even in the bath) it feels like true grit in your hand, as you turn the pages you can almost hear the dialogue between characters and smell of the crisp air of Sweden as Det Wallander gives chase to his prey.
An outstanding piece of writing I recommend it immediately and for the rest of your life!!!

''What does a young girl from Forks want with a Rabbi?''
I hear you cry, well on my journey to self enlightenment and mega movie franchise heaven, I stopped off at Amazon book store and found this book. I'm picked it up because of the amusing title.
I wasn't disappointed. A witty and realistic account of Qabalah and a red flag to all those who immitate.
So now I have a well informed, in bitesize peices view of Qabalah and I think I like it all thanks to the fabulously intelligent and engagingly funny Lon Milo DuQuette!!!
Born again? No I'm not, I think I got it right the first time but please read for entertainment value alone is so worth it but take something from it as I did and you'll find yourself writing a review not unlike this one.
