4.0 out of 5 stars Bluetooth Reciever, 28 Feb 2014

It works you lose a little quality, but if using high bitrate files I doubt the average listener would notice. Now for the cons

1 No power on and off, why this is the case I don't know.
2 No L and R Rca's at the back of the unit.
3 Bright blue light.
4 To light... this should really have some weight to the product.

2.0 out of 5 stars Fiio worth while? Was to be used as a desktop amp at work..., 3 Feb 2014

Reason why I don't like this product and returned it is because when the E17 is docked you lose all the frequency adjustments on the E17. The E17 will drive some pretty big headphones I have the AKG550 and there is no problem powering them at all. The E09k doesn't make the sound cleaner nor better, but will use the E17 as a DAC and offer charging, but as above you lose all the features of the E17 bass and treble adjustment, so you are left with line out sound, which is accurate and flat but not exactly what you want in your listening experience. So for me the L7 paired with the E17 plug into the PC is the best solution. It is possible that I am using a setup that is was never intended for, just trying to be fair.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just mobile headphone stand, 16 Oct 2013
Hi this stand gets a 1 star from me, yes the stand does look nice ps it is a dull brushed finish not shiny or polished, and it does hold my headphones AKG 550, how ever the cable management base is pointless. The idea is that you wrap the cord around the base, however there is no entry and exit point for the cable, so you get a bunch up of cable at the back because you have to cross over the cable already in the base, this happens if you want to keep the headphones plugged into the amp or desktop audio output, also there is nothing to keep the cable in the wrap around base so you end up with cable popping out the sides. When you charge this much for things like these features should be incorporated, hence the one star.

It works well, and is smaller than the average oil filled electric heater, you will be surprised how much water it removes from the air, the noise level is fine on the low setting however on max it is quite loud. I use mine in the bedroom at night while I sleep for around 4 hours I'm a light sleeper and low setting in fine in terms of noise, you will hear water trickling every now but not an issue. Laundry, if you like to air dry clothing on a airier then get one of these, it really does remove a lot of moisture from the air no more steamed windows or water on the walls. Personally I don't use the laundry setting just use the min setting if you hang your loads correctly allowing full air circulation 2 loads of washing with minimal ambient heat for around 4 hours, 2 full loads will take around 6 hours, saving of around 2 hours drying time in my experience. This is what I have found to be the most cost effect way to air dry (ps air drying does not mean clothing dripping wet, all clothing should be spun after the main wash).

Loads include 4 tee shirts, 7 boxers, 7 pairs socks, 1 travel trousers craghoppers, 6 work shirts berghaus etc, 2 pillow cases, 2 pillow protectors, 1 cotton sweater, 1 sweat pant, 2 sports shorts, 3 sports boxers, med size sport towel, and 1 washing towel, No Jeans. I may have forgotten something but you get the idea.

Some things that delonghi really should consider, 1. The water tray should also be a jug. 2. The handle for the water tray should lock into position, had a carpet full of water because of this over sight.3. 6 hour timer would be an ideal addition. 4 CONGRATUALATIONS for getting rid of that blue light on the older model, these types of products will be used in all places. Overall a great product and a must for any person that is domesticated, or has a moisture issue in the home.

3.0 out of 5 stars E6 Portable Amp, 19 Jan 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As a previous owner of the E5 I will say that this is an improvement but only in some ways, FiiO have taken the time to add a preset equalizer a nice addition to the device, and also hold. The sound quality is still the same and gives your music a better experience with enough lower end, which avoids over powering the highs. The major issue is the clip at the back of the device used to secure the amp to clothing, back of the cover for your mp3 or running armband, has been changed from horizontal to diagonal position, whilst this looks nice, it now means that the amp struggles to stay secure, especially if you are using a line out. The body of the device and clip is now made of plastic too; I can not help but feel this will not be as durable as the metal clip.

Craghoppers Men's Blake Short Sleeve Seersucker Shirt
Craghoppers Men's Blake Short Sleeve Seersucker Shirt

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really, 23 Dec 2011
This shirt is awful, it takes longer than all my other hiking/traveling shirts to dry, and the shirt is a heavier cotton which is not really ideal for traveling or otherwise. Also you have to iron these shirts, it has a crumpled look which i don't think really works. The collar on both my shirts have lost form after a couple washes so the shirt no longer looks smart. Crag-hoppers got it wrong this time, a good example of this type of shirt is the berghaus destination shirt or if you are sold on crag-hoppers then get the kiwi shirt a far better shirt but the collar lays flat on the collar bone after a couple washes so it really does look like a traveling/hiking shirt, hope that makes sense.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sony attempt at replacing the X-series, 14 Sep 2011
I recently purchased this mp3 player and to be honest the sound quality is superb. However I would like to note a couple of things, there is no noise cancellation, at this price this should have been included, and was on the Sony NWZA845B A series Walkman. The second, the earphone cord is painfully thin and will be the first thing to break. Third is build quality, whilst good they have used cheaper plastics that detract from the overall quality of the player. Four, the earphones they are literally just a bud, the tail again is flimsy, just poor show. Five the tactile buttons are at the side of the unit so you have to take the player of your pocket to operate, this should have been located at the top of the unit as with the x series player.

Sony have attempted to recreate the x series player but missed the mark.

Sony needs to decide what they are doing in the mp3 market, because they have lost to apple due to cover flow. The only thing they have is sound quality, which is the main reason you will be considering this product. Should apple decide to release a premium mp3 player for audiophiles in cooperation with Shure and Cowon for example, Sony would be out of the mp3 market.

In my opinion Sony should forget the fancy things like Bluetooth connectivity and focus on sound with noise cancellation and build quality. For those of you who purchased the Sony NWZA845B A series Walkman, the volume on this unit has been unrestricted and gives enough top end.

Overall the player is good but for £130 should not have the flaws mentioned, I would rather pay £150 and have another x series walkman.

4.0 out of 5 stars Insoles for casual footwear, 8 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I brought these after a very long day walking in a pair of vans off the wall shoes. Vans off the wall shoes are not made for comfort. I've used these insoles on three different occasions for both standing and walking over long periods of time. Walking or standing has been a very comfortable experience. It's taken 3 days to break the insoles in, however before this point they felt cumbersome and awkward. To fit these insoles You will need a Stanley knife to carve a custom fit, took me around 10-15 minutes. No complaints regarding the product, and im sure they'll get more comfortable given time and use. A bit expensive hence the four out of five.
