Bank 3.0- Why banking is no longer somewhere you go, but something you do
Bank 3.0- Why banking is no longer somewhere you go, but something you do
by Brett King
Edition: Hardcover
Price: 19.99

3.0 out of 5 stars An update to Bank 2.0, 28 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A worthwhile book on the state of Retail Banking. Whether there is sufficient new material to justify a new book in addition to the excelled Bank 2.0, I'm less sure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Six of the best, 22 Jan 2011
Well made and presented, it was good to get a set of six. Too often I've lost a stud and had a near useless set of three!

Just make sure that they're screwed in properly and not loose and all should be well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hot stuff, 22 Jan 2011
The frost fighter has done its job this winter and kept my plants alive.

The size and shape are fine and it's quite robust. It took a few days for me to get the theromostat setting right, but other than that, it's worked fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely but..., 5 Dec 2010
This review is from: Joy To The World (Audio CD)
I've been a fan of Pink Martini ever since a friend gave me one of their early CDs. This album keeps the same sound but goes for a slightly more sacharin choice of music. It's the sort that could so easily be playing in a boutique at this time of year. It is ideal backing music for a party, but not the sit down and wallow that has been so evident in previous albums. All in all, another good album, but not one to use to introduce people to Pink Martini.

5.0 out of 5 stars A much needed work, 19 Feb 2010
This review is from: On Bullshit (Hardcover)
When I first saw this book referenced I thought that it must be a novelty and, to be honest, didn't think that it actually existed. A quick search, and there it was. What is, as first sight, a humourous essay has a serious point to make. Extremely well written, it makes for a very informative, and entertaining, hour long read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A welcome update, 29 Oct 2006
Having tried to be engaged with the old "Tune a day" books that my clarinet teacher used to base her lessons, and regularly failing, this refresh finally captures the excitement of picking up the instrument.

The print is clear, the music catchy and interesting. The CD is invaluable for helping keep a steady pace and, with some of the pieces played both in full and with a backing track, gives a good idea of the sound that you should be trying to achieve.
