4.0 out of 5 stars A great insight into Victorian London and it's culture, 21 Nov. 2000
The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde was set in Victoian London and deals with the dual personality of Dr Jekyll. This allogorical novella asks the question have we all an evil part in our bodies? After reading this I can say we have. This book shows the human as a hypocrite and as haing a dual personality. Stevenson's structure of this book adds to the the mystery. This has to be one of the the best and original horror stories ever writen.
