Price: 19.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, 5 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
An HDMI cable which is very cheap will give you the same picture as the most expensive one so a review must focus on build quality.
It works.
Heads are small and fit well into the slots if they are very tightly placed (Panasonic tv's)
Have not had any issues with reliability but I don't use it for anything other that connecting the Freesat box to the tv.

Much cheaper than I could source it elsewhere. Good purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good kit, could be better., 5 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Nice kit which is amusing to use (remember childrens chemistry sets?).
Could do with a couple of more tests, phosphates ect. Also could incude two more test tubes and a small holder for the tubes when conducting the tests but these are small criticisms.
All in all a good buy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for a planted tank or tank with many ornaments, 5 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Device is awkward and quirky to get functioning.
Quite bulky so will only suit open areas of heavy gravel as it will pick up any fine gravel.
I could not get the water pump to operate properly, it would only work when gravity assisted.
The old siphoning hose I previously used is better in all respects and does not use batteries.
Beware if your tank is over 40.5cm deep, cause it will flood the battery compartment if deeper!!
This is going on ebay...

3.0 out of 5 stars NO POWER CABLE, 2 Jan 2014
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
The item looks good and seems durable.
My daughter generally likes it but..
The sing along feature is very poor, does not work well enough to use.
As stated by the other reviewer, it has no power cable supplied for mains. It does have the port for a cable and I think for this money a cable should be supplied.
You can buy a cable aftermarket. You would need a 6v 600ma 5watt mains adaptor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Description appears to be wrong.., 12 Jun 2013
The description states it has an IPS LED panel, I believe this has the MVA LCD panel which would explain the poor viewing angle and lack of 3D.
On the plus side the picture will be better than IPS due to better contrast and deeper blacks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good bracket, 5 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a good solid heavy duty bracket but does anyone believe it was ever sold for 49. ??
Like that bottle of wine from your local superstore was never really 15.99 reduced to 4.69.
The only real complaint is with the fixings. The plastic screw thingies are rubbish. The instructions tell you the size of drill bit you need but I found they were not solid in the wall, a good bit of weight and the plug would slide out, not so good for your lovely TV if your not paying attention..
Take my advice and go get some heavy duty screws and plugs and you'll be fine with this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars At last a viable alternative, 5 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I replaced x3 20w halogen bulbs with these and the light quality is very good.
Be aware that the bulbs are bigger than normal halogen, not the diameter, the depth is bigger. I had trouble with flush ceiling lights due to the internal clamp being in the way but I managed to bend them out and the bulbs work fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ho Hum Henry.., 12 Feb 2012
About time for a review on a product which I have lived with for about two years now.
It has positives and negatives.
The good:
1.For the wattage,1200, its very powerful indeed. Some reviewers state it cannot pick up crumbs or dust. It is obvious they have faulty machines or have not assembled them properly as this is so powerful it can be difficult to move over carpets on occasion.

2.This has a large capacity dust bag and this is a good reason for its favour in industrial usage. Builders don't want to constantly change dust bags. It will pick up big bits of rubble and sometimes things you do not want it to like pens and socks (we have kids!).

3. The attachments are robust and functional. The carpet tool is very powerful and effective. It does a great job combing the carpet. The other tools are all worthwhile.

4. Maintenance of the unit is simple. Clean the foam filters every now and then. opening the unit is easy but bag changes can be fiddly.

5. It has a very long cable so you can clean the whole level without replacing the plug into a different socket. I don't think any other cleaner has a longer cable?

6. Build quality is simple and solid. It's made extremely tough and should last many years.

Things you should consider (cons)
1. Simply this is a vac for professional cleaning companies and people who need to clean large areas or pick up heavy debris. You will notice that it can be brutally powerful and pick up all sorts. Then you have to rip open the bag to retrieve the item sucked up.

2. The large capacity sounds good but do you have pets? by the time you fill this bag, the pet hairs will go off in the bag and this unit will stink horribly. You don't want to change a half empty bag but it will stink if your not filling the bag and changing it often.

3. The filters are just cheap sponge. has no effect on any smell from the unit. Don't tell me my house stinks because it doesn't. After a while the Henry does because it takes so long to fill the bag that the content does. The filters make no difference.

4. The cable retrieval method is a nuisance. Modern machines have automatic cable retrieval buttons, you have to wind this in. Sounds petty but try it sometime.

5. It's not stable. Henry tips over regularly and the wheels are poor at following you around the house. The hose is not long enough for the stairs and the unit will not sit on the steps without falling over.

6. It's heavy and when the bag is getting full its very heavy and generally awkward. Difficult to take up and down the stairs regularly.

7. (personal) It looks like a lego project. No real design style here. I find it quite silly that some people seem to refer to this as an entity maybe because it has been fitted with some eyes..sad lot.

Like most things it has pros and cons. Some will love it, some will hate it. Sort of like marmite..

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good but.., 21 May 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Had these for a while now and can therefore pass judgement.
First of all, the construction seems to be very well done. Ear pads are a bit small but relatively comfortable as long as your movie is under two hours, they can get sore after prolonged use.
The transmitter and stand is flimsy but easy to use, the light being very simple to figure out. Its so light that you have to hold on to it when pushing the buttons.
As other reviewers have noted, the volume controls are very small. I have the cables connected to a freesat box so just have the volume on the cans set high and control it from the sat box.
Surround sound is a bit gimmicky for me. Muddies up the quality. People stating it sounds great with movies should hear some music/radio on that setting and get a real idea how artificial it sounds. Its no-where near real surround sound so why bother.
Thankfully the normal setting is of excellent quality. No compression artifacts make for a nice almost 'hi-fi' sound great for music and tv. This is possibly due to the uncompressed 2.4ghz signal.
80 metres range? Maybe in outer space, not in my house. It breaks up past any wall of substance but does go through the first ceiling into the first floor.
I would say a 20 metre range would be more realistic.
Overall I am happy with this purchase. Why some people give it 5 stars and state the volume buttons are too small doesn't make sense.
This is not perfect but it is very good.
