5.0 out of 5 stars gift for a friend, 1 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Rexee 5-inch T-Rex (Toy)
Im quite happy with this as I got it as a small gift for a friend. Its a decent size, well made and quite a cute little thing. The eyes in particular look a lot better than the picture gives credit for.
No complaints whatsoever.

2.0 out of 5 stars cheap, not as pictured but does work, 10 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Seems cheap and had some buzzing/humming come through on the sounds from it. Different to what was expected based on the picture. Does its job but I wouldn't have ordered it had I seen it beforehand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just amazing!, 16 April 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is an ADULT version of Alice in Wonderland so definately not a kids game!

This game is a rare thing by todays standards. This game does its own thing and tells its own story and as such - it oozes character! Graphically beautiful, stylistic and individual, alice sees the player make their way through a twisted wonderland which is a direct result of Alices fragile mental state.
And the gameplay flows smoothly and is also a lot of fun whilst still providing a challenge. Im not a fan of platformers (which is what this game is) but i can homestly say this is the best game i've played all year! EVERYTHING about the game just works in its own special way.
I would whole-heartedly recomend this game to anyone who likes a somewhat dark storyline, theres been a lot of imagination and passion poured into the making of this game and it really shows!

4.0 out of 5 stars A second chance for those who missed them first time around, 9 April 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
firstly, ive heard a lot of complaints regarding this HD re-release. Im simply going to say that this is LITERALLY a HD re-release!
I missed both games first time around, but i know from personal experience that we tend to remember some things better than they actually were. a lack of personal nostalgia for these games i think allows me to make an impartial review without the high demands of fanboy-ism.
I have finished SH2 and am a little into SH3. I dont regret buying these games for a second! These games still stand up to the best offering of modern horror with their creepy atmosphere, chilling soundtrack and the disorientation factor that it always manages to give you. I almost dont want to play them but then i do.
To sum it up, the HD collection is 2 classic and genuinely discomforting horror games that have been given a minor face-lift.
It is advertised as such and delivers exactly what it says on the tin! the fact that these are 2 amazing horror games, and coupled with the less-than-full-retail price - DEFINATELY worth getting if you find yourself wanting with most modern horror games!

2.0 out of 5 stars ruins 3 games in 10 minutes....., 9 April 2012
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Well, having played Mass Effect 1 and 2 prior to the third installment i was expecting great things from this. Bioware once upon a time had a reputation for phenomenal storylines....
The trilogy as whole tells 3 very good stories that all play out as parts of the bigger picture, and we were promised that all our choices from the previous games, all the 'relationships' that we'd built up with the characters would come to a head. This is where the game ultimately, flat out FAILS.....
This game manages to make EVERYTHING you ever did in the previous games TOTALLY INCONSEQUENTIAL!!! This is a series based on forcing the player to make the tough calls that decide the fate of the galaxy ultimately, only the fate of the galaxy has already been decided. the ONLY thing that your choices really affect is your 'war assets' rating - this in turn only really affect what colour ending you get! YES, they are all practically the same but with different colours in them.
I could stomach this just about, if the endings actually made any sense. Bioware have managed to ruin an entire trilogy in the last 10 minutes....
For a game that for the most part has a flawless, involving and powerful story - the last 10 minutes are riddled with so many plot-holes and nonsensical logics. Its like they didnt have time to think of a decent ending so with the deadline looming went with the first suggestion to make it to the desk.
For those of you who feel that im reviewing the ending more than the game, i understand your point - but on the flipside i cant make it clear enough about how this game is ALL ABOUT THE STORY. Now imagine your reading a book, about this character who's faced so much adversity, overcame some serious struggles and still made it out alive, only to have the final page read 'but nothing this guy ever did made a difference, and instead this random illogical event took place just to wrap it up'.
THAT my friends, is 'Mass Effect 3.

5.0 out of 5 stars an essential purchase for any serious guitarist, 21 Aug 2009
well, to start off, the ME-70 has 4 footswitches and an expression pedal. these are 'compression/fx, distortion, modulation and delay'.
the expression pedal has 'wah, +1 octave, -1 octave, voice, volume and modulation/delay rate'.
all the pedals can be set to different sounds/effects and then be tweaked till it's just right.

after youve got the settings that your after, you can then save them to one of nine user patches. this basically means that if you use it to gig, in between songs theres no need to stop and twiddle with the dials. you can just enter memory mode and call up wichever 'patch' you need.

it has solid build quality and it'd take quite some force to break it.
Everything is pretty straight forward to use and you will only find yourself calling on the manual todo some of the more complicated actions.

this is great value for money for any serious guitarist and will give you plenty to experiment with.
The only cons i can think off are that theres no power adapter in the box and on some rare occasions you can get a bit stuck trying to figure a few things out ie saving/recalling settings in memory mode
