5.0 out of 5 stars Very spacious good quality tent, 25 Jun 2010
This tent is a good quality and spacious. You can easily stand up in the middle area, and even stand up to get dressed in the sleeping areas! Plenty of room for four adults. Putting it up is a bit of a struggle the first few times, especially as there are no clear instructions. The colour coded poles are a help. I found the best way was to insert all the poles, but only hook up the black central area poles first, erect the central area, and THEN hook up the sleeping area (red) poles. Once you've got the knack you can erect it single handedly in about 20 minutes. Overall, this tent looks and feels like a good quality product. I'd recommend this tent.

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit boring, 29 Jan 2010
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
We quickly got bored with this. Quite a challenge to start with, but after a few goes, the tests are predictable and boring. There really is no variation to the basic set of tests you get with the first play. It doesn't get any more challenging as you go along. Only useful as a "stocking filler", if it's cheap enough at the time you buy it.

We've been playing board games for years. This is one of the best we've ever played. The rules are a bit complicated, but very clearly written. Within two plays, we were into it. It's a really good mixture of luck and skill, and what we like about it is the fact that no two gameplays are alike. You have to use different strategies, depending on what happens as you go along.
As you lay down the randomly chosen tiles, roads, cities, farms and monasteries are built, and you place your players on the tile you've just played to gain instant points, or points for later. It looks attractive on the table, with winding roads, and emerging cities with rich rural colours. I definitely recommend this- I can see we'll be playing this for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good, 3 Sep 2009
This review is from: Campingaz Camp Bistro (Sports)
I bought this for a "one off" weekend camping trip, and it worked a treat. A far cry from those old bleuet things that were in constant danger of falling over with a pan of boiling water on the go. This is much more sensible- a flat surface to cook on. It boiled a pan of water in no time, and the fact that you can erasily remove the gas canister between uses is a plus. Its handy carrying case is robust and light. Very tidy when you've got hundreds of other bits and pieces to pack when you're camping. Great value for money. Definitely recommend it
