5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, great price., 1 Mar. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
When my package arrived (very promptly, I might add), I was alarmed at its tiny size and incredible flatness. My first thought was: "Oh dear, that looks flimsy." However, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I do a lot of painting, writing and typing, and I occasionally suffer from wrist pain due to repetitive movements. Buying something with a metal brace, though, felt too confining, so I decided on these. And they worked beautifully! They help to prevent strain by supporting your wrist, and alleviate the pain by keeping it warm. I sleep with mine overnight, and the next day the pain is gone.

The strap can be wound tightly or loosely, depending on your need. The size was perfect, just measure your wrist and check against the available sizes.

If you want a light, but sturdy, wrist support, I would definitely recommend these.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth buying., 28 Feb. 2014

I don't normally write bad reviews, but...

I guess it's my own fault for buying a book about angels, but I didn't expect this book to be so rampantly religious. I especially didn't appreciate the whole "sick-people-aren't-really-sick-they-just-think-they-are"-thing. Sickness as demon-possession? Seriously, what is this? The Dark Ages?

Also, not very well written. There are ways to make the old "big, hulking, dark hero and tiny, frail, pale heroine" cliché work, but this is not it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry, but this is terrible., 28 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I don't normally write bad reviews, but this time I just couldn't help myself.

I never thought I'd say this, but this book actually has less plot than "Fifty Shades...". Which is no small feat, indeed. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against erotica, but this is badly written erotica. The characters are uninteresting, hardly anything happens (except for sex) and the language is borderline pornographic.

I honestly can't recommend this to anyone. Buy Sylvia Day's "The Stranger I Married" instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely gripping must-read, 19 July 2011
This is considered one of the classics in feminism and I recently decided to buy it. It was worth every penny! I didn't think I'd finish it as fast as I did, I practically read it cover to cover in a few days. Seldom have I read anything as gripping, interesting and scary as this. One minute you're so angry you want to throw something, and the next you're slapping your forehead going "Oh my God, she's so right!"

As a Swedish reader I thought that - for me personally - some of her points on religion and childcare were a bit off target, but that's a small quibble indeed. Her analysis of how feminism was under attack in 80's newspapers, movies and tv is nothing short of brilliant. (Moral of the story: Never believe anything in the newspapers or on tv.)

Should be required reading in school. I can't recommend this enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, compelling and classic, 10 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Morgan Greer Tarot (Cards)
I treated myself to the Morgan-Greer tarot deck for Christmas and I was not disappointed. If you want a beautiful, classic deck, with clear, iconic images that speak to your subconscious, this is it. Another plus is the borderless design. Very stylish. No tacky white borders and cardnames in four languages.

I have two tiny warnings though. One: The leaflet is completely useless. That didn't bother me though, I already own several tarot books. Two: Be careful when shuffling. The cards are not as thickly veneered as you think and are prone to developing split corners.

But please, do not let this intimidate you. I LOOOVE my deck. I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic and affordable, 26 Oct. 2010
I recently started looking for a new pair of earphones for my Zen Stone mp3-player. I had decided to buy Sennheiser, because of their good reputation, and I definitely wanted a neck-strap. After much browsing I found these, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The neck-strap is just the right length and has a lock on it, so you don't have to pull it over your head. Which is especially nice for those of us with long hair. The loop that holds the player is detachable. When you need to recharge the player you just remove the loop and player from the earphones. Also included is an extension-lead, so you can carry your player in a pocket without tangling yourself in the earphones.

The price is even better. Not the cheapest, but not crazily expensive either. If you're looking for good-quality earphones, with good sound, that are easy to use, I would highly recommend these.

Klingon for the Galactic Traveler (Star Trek)

3.0 out of 5 stars A great book - but not for everybody, 4 Aug. 2010
I'm a huge fan of Marc Okrand, but...

If you're a die-hard trekkie and just have to know every subtle detail about the Klingon language and all its dialects, this is the book for you.

If you're a beginner, like me, who wants to learn how to say "Hello!" or "Where's the bar?" this is definitely NOT the book for you.

There is one good reason for buying this though: the dictionary section includes many new words that are not in the regular "Klingon Dictionary". If you can afford it, it's great to have this as a reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars An all-time favorite, 12 Mar. 2009
This was one of the first books I read when I discovered sf at the age of 13. I recently re-read it, expecting something that would entertain a wide-eyed teenager, and found something else entirely. A beautiful, funny, poignant and dramatic tale, full of passion and pathos.

Despite numerous trips around the solar-system and a planet full of martians, it never loses credibility, much thanks to the lead character. Lorenzo Smythe is unforgettable.

What's left to say, except for: READ IT!

Creative Zen Stone 1gb MP3 Player - Pink

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, but..., 12 April 2008
I definitely recommend buying the Zen Stone. It's incredibly cute and it works perfectly. To be honest, I only bought it because it was pink, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's easy to use, both the free software and the player itself, and the folder function is amazing. It's tiny, but it packs a mean punch.

I only have one complaint. How am I supposed to carry it? The first thing I had to do was go out and buy new earphones with a neckstrap. It would have been nice if some sort of carrying device was included.
