4.0 out of 5 stars Finally a game where you can play as Venom, 5 Dec 2005
As a big Venom fan I couldn't wait to get this game when I first heard about it.
Although the comic-book style did put me off slightly I grew to like it. But what was a constant annoyance was the fact that the storyline was nothing like it comic books
For the most part the storyline is quite intresting and keeps you intrested in the game, but it is far too easy, I was through it in only hours. While the side missions do become very repetivite
So all in all not a bad game, but don't expect more than a couple of hours gamplay from it, unless you want to find every token and complete every race, challenege and stop every crime in new york city

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad second time around, 16 Nov 2005
While X-men legends 2 does suffer on its graphics (very PS1), its gameply makes up for that, it offers players up to 15 X-men and brotherhood charcters all with diffrent strenghts and ablilities, to tackle the diffrent missions.
While giving the players diffrent opponents, who possess diffrent, weakness, meaning that no one character is superior.
Within the game the player can train, and upgrade the characters, with bonus missions, inculding charcter challenges, as well as being able to switch between any of the four current team members at any time in the game.
But one of the best things about this game is the two player benifit, as not only does it not let players hurt their co-playrers characters (by accident or otherwise, he he he). It also offers a drop-in for new players, so rather than restarting a new game a player can just jump in to a currnet game.
While I personally found the game to be not as good as the orgininal, it did have its advantages. There was no stopping the two player mode for the mansion parts of the game which could only be played by one player, and the storyline was far more in dept. With some great movies in between the acts
This game is definatly a muts play with friends

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally addictive, 12 Nov 2005
Once again become the troubled inamte Torque, a man who may or may not have killed his family, as he re-emters the suffering.
This time Torque moves from Carnate Island to his home of Baltimore, as he fights new and old enimies through the streets, sewers and the prisons of trhe city. Searching for a person who may have the answers to his families deaths.
Once again the Suffering has its morailty sacle which determins Torque's end fate. But this time the storyline is much more in dept and the foes are more varied and challenging.
For those who from the first game a bit too short, a bit weak on storyline, or a bit too easy. The makers have lisened and responded.
To all fans of survial horror this is a must play, that you will want to play again and again

1.0 out of 5 stars Am I the only person who doesn't like this film??, 24 Oct 2005

Am I the only person who doesn't like this film??
While I have to admit it is refreshing to see a british horror movie, espcially a british zombie horror movie, I feel that their could have been much more to 28 Days Later.
As the enitre storyline has been done to death, which makes this nothing more than a classic zombie movie with the heroes struggling to reach what they think will be a safe haven
The only saving points to this film, it that many people can say that recoginise places within the film, Picadilly Circus and Westminster, but other than that I found this film to be a total disappiontment.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, 16 Oct 2005
The City of Ravens, is great introduction to the forgotten realms, and a brilliant book as well.
The main charchter Jack Ravewild, becomes involved in all manner of situtaions, that cause this book to be a page turner. (It is just one of those books that you find very difficult to put down).
Combined with some very funny moments and some great charchters this is a book that should keep any forgotten realms fan happy

5.0 out of 5 stars What would you give up for a world withou war?, 20 Sep 2005
This review is from: Equilibrium [DVD] [2003] (DVD)
As many people will see only minutes into this film is elements from George Orwells 1984. Set in a world where wars have almost detroyed society and the goverment rules all. Gramaton Clerics are the enforcers of the law, by tracking down and destroying anything that will instill emotion.
From the Clerics fight secenes elements of the Martix can be seen, as the fight scenes are so visually impressive, it is breathtaking.
Howvere Christain Bale, steals the film, as a cleric who has stopped taking his drug and begun to feel. Throughout the film the new sestaions and emtions he is feeling is there to see for the viewer, from Bale's amazing perforance
All in all if you are a Sci-fi or action fan, this is for you

5.0 out of 5 stars A true fighting fantasy masterpiece, 20 Sep 2005
Ou of all of the Fighting Fantasy book, Deathtrap Dungeon, has to be the most well know and well played. As this is what gamebooks should be.
The storyline is quite simple, but all of the action and puzzels are there, which is excatly what a player would want. The challenges and adverseries are all well placed with enough help at hand to get you through, with the book being very well writen and illustrated.
So if you've never played a fighting fantasy gamebook before, Make Deathtrap Dungeon your first, you won't be disappionted
