4.0 out of 5 stars weird but great, 17 Sept. 2009

Why is this one not on dvd yet? Far from perfect story-wise, but great atmosphere.

A great album that is often overlooked. I have no idea why, since it's Joe Jackson's best.

5.0 out of 5 stars great, great show, 12 Sept. 2009

Great comedy show by arguably the best stand-up comedian in the world today. Intelligent, funny an highly original. And very smug.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic, 26 July 2009
Great movie. Not reccomended for fans of high speed car-chases, but a must-see for those who like sharp dialogue and amazing acting performances. Two actors even manage to rise above the (very high) level of their colleagues: Jack Lemmon and Alec Baldwin. Lemmon is at the same time endearing, heartbreaking and highly irritating as an elderly salesman on the way down, and Baldwin gives us the best five minutes of his career.
'Put. that. coffee. down'.

5.0 out of 5 stars great book!, 26 July 2009
Objective, insightful and well-researched. A lot more interesting than Bill's own book. Paints a picture of Clinton as a smart but very flawed politician. Great.

2.0 out of 5 stars pretty awful, 27 Jan. 2009
Dane cook is a pretty funny guy and his first two cd's were hilarious, but by putting out this dvd he made his first real mistake.
Jumping on the reality-tv bandwagon may have seemed like a good idea, but 'tourgasm' is almost unwatchable. Four irritating, immature and -most surprisingly- totally unfunny guys stuck in a bus together.
No! and, Why?
For real, real real real die hard fans only.

4.0 out of 5 stars jennifer saves the movie, 13 July 2008

Jennifer connely is an amazing actress, and the fact that she's the most beatiful woman on the planet makes looking at her perfomances even more enjoyable. Once again she rescues a movie that would otherwise have been quite average. Her daughter is portrayed very convincingly as well. The story is haunting, heart-breaking and not very scary. Haunting and heartbreaking thanks to the lead actresses, not scary thanks to an uneven script.

3.0 out of 5 stars Best star trek show starts off ok..., 1 Nov. 2007
STDS9 is the best of all the Star Trek shows in my opinion. It,s more ambitious than STNG and more intelligent than Voyager. No wishy-washy counselors or sexy borg-babes in sight; just well-rounded three-dimensional characters living in a real world where actions have consequences. To rewatch the first season of such a show is like watching
a beautiful flower before it blooms. You see the potential, but it's not all there yet. Odo, Bashir, Dax, Sisko, they somehow all look and act a little more as charicatures than in later years.
Still, a pretty good first season.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best voyager season without borg babe, 1 Nov. 2007
Season Three is Voyagers best. Great episodes (scorpion pt 1, worst case scenario, unity) and only a few terrible ones (Neelix and Tovok stuck in a lift anyone?)
Sure, Seven of Nine was hot and all that, but story-wise she did not really improve the show. Season four to seven brought us countless episodes in which Seven 'explored her humanity'. We had already seen Data do that in STNG. Brent Spiner did not look as good in spandex, but he was the more interesting character of the two. Season Three was the last chance for some of the regulars like Harry, Tuvok, and Chakotay to shine before they were forever placed in Seven's (quite arousing) shadow.

3.0 out of 5 stars Funny Perry in average movie, 1 Nov. 2007
This review is from: Three To Tango [DVD] [1999] (DVD)
Mattthew Perry is funny. He is also always Matthew Perry. Whether you watch 'friends', 'studio 66', or 'three to tango', you are looking at the same guy with the same timing and the same quirky mannerisms. Nothing wrong with that. If it works for Al Pacino, why can,t Matthew do it? In this case, Matthews Funnieness and Neve Campbell's charm and sex-appeal save an otherwise forgettable movie.
