Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It's pretty much crap, after about two weeks, the edges of the thing started to 'crumble'.

4.0 out of 5 stars RIP Lemmy, 4 Jan. 2016
This review is from: Bad Magic (Audio CD)
Bad Magic is the last Motörhead album. Who would have tought? Lemmy, the one and only, has left us.
At least, Lemmy went out with a bang and made one last great Motörhead album with Mikkey en Phil.
Bad Magic is, along with Aftershock, one of the best latter day Motörhead albums. So stop reading, and honour the great Lemmy and buy this album!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ryan Adams is King Midas, 30 Oct. 2015
This review is from: 1989 (Audio CD)
Ryan Adams covering a full Taylor Swift album... Interesting. First of all, Adams is a bit of a genius. He can tackle any kind of genre, is a great musician and singer + he can write. I had confidence that this 1989 project would be good. But I didn't expect it to be this great. The album literally sounds great. Production is wonderful. You could say the album has a bit of an eighties feel to it, it has some Smiths influences and even some Springsteen. I wasn't familiar with the Taylor Swift album. But, after hearing Ryan's album, it made me kind of curious about the original. The original is definately not my cup of tea. One must admit, Swift has written some good songs, but it takes a guy like Ryan to give them meaning, life, substance. Ryan Adams turns s*** to gold, like King Midas.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a Bond movie., 27 Oct. 2015
This review is from: Skyfall [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
Skyfall is not a Bond movie. It's not a bad movie, but it's no Bond movie. The key ingredients for a great Bond movie are missing. The villain is a joke and not scary at all. There's no particular memorable henchman. The Bond girl dies way too soon. Q is an irritating young man with a horrible haircut. Moneypenny should be behind a desk. The world is not at stake, it's about a personal vendetta. The plot of the movie is very weak. What's up with all the hacking?? Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my Bond classic.

1.0 out of 5 stars The horror., 26 Oct. 2015
This review is from: Writing's On The Wall (Audio CD)
This has got to be one of the worst James Bond songs ever. I think I even like Madonna's Die Another Day better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sucks bigtime, 26 Oct. 2015
Avoid at all cost. This is yet another overrated Tarantino movie. Stick to Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown.

1.0 out of 5 stars The first 20 minutes are great, and that's about it, 26 Oct. 2015
The first 20 minutes are great, and that's about it. There's nothing 'fun' or 'cool' about this Tarantino movie. Brad Pitt, as usual, is terrible in this movie. A bunch of Jews beating up Nazi's, blah blah blah. Yeah, cool... This is a movie for 16 year olds.

4.0 out of 5 stars is the best Slayer album since Abyss, 17 Sept. 2015
This review is from: Repentless (Bonus DVD) (Audio CD)
Repentless to me, is the best Slayer album since Abyss. We were all afraid I guess.. a Slayer album without Jeff (rip) and Dave. Gary and Paul fill in the blanks and they do a great job. The album 'sounds' great, thanks to producer Terry Date. No loudness war à la Rick Rubin!

Repentless is vicious, fast, hard, brutal, it's Slayer. They stick to their roots and that's ultimately what we as fans want. If Metallica enters the studio for a new album, I hope they take a listen to Repentless, because that's how it's done.

The dvd from Wacken 2014 is of great quality and highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you!, 4 Sept. 2015
This review is from: The Book Of Souls (Audio CD)
Brave New World, Dance of Death, Matter of life and death, The Final Frontier... And now The Book of Souls. Where to start? Iron Maiden has had quite a rebirth, making great album after great album. After a few listens of The Book of Souls it's clear to me that the boys really created a truly epic one of a kind album. It is everything you could expect and more from the greatest metal band ever. Let this be an example of how it's done. Suddenly, growing old doesn't scare me. Just look and hear what these guys are still capable of! To the band Iron Maiden, I have these words for you: thank you, thank you, thank you.

4.0 out of 5 stars True survival horror, 26 Mar. 2015
This review is from: The Evil Within (PS4) (Video Game)
The Evil Within is one of the nastiest, scariest games I have ever played. At times it is just sick. You never feel at ease in this game. Even on casual difficulty, you'll die plenty of times. The game can be challenging and frustrating. It is a hommage to Resident Evil and Silent Hill. You can definately tell Shinji Mikami was involved. Gameplay is rather slow, and you can't just shoot your way through the game. You have to carefully plan on how to tackle things. Use the enviroment to your advantage because you will be low on ammo basically all the time. The game looks great. Some great lighting effects going on! If u like horror, The Evil Within is a must buy.
