2.0 out of 5 stars Takes ages to charge and in the recent two months ..., 13 July 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Takes ages to charge and in the recent two months is overheating very badly indeed, so much so that it is almost impossible to touch it. I would not put it on or near anything flammable because of fire risk. I wished I'd bought the proper Apple power supply unit, this is rubbish.

Another great case from Tuff-Luv. Classic British herringbone tweed design gives it a very stylish feel.

I am pretty competent as far as computers go, particularly Apple Macs so thought this Netgear device would be easy to set up...how wrong I could be, I wasted two plus hours trying to get it to work. It oddly did work for about five minutes albeit so slowly it was unusable. On a 120MBps line. Rubbish. I returned it for a refund.

Dreadful printer, I have had nothing but problems with this very noisy, unreliable, poor quality lump of plastic.

4.0 out of 5 stars nicely designed and easy to set up, 10 Sept. 2014

Well constructed, nicely designed and easy to set up, works very well on my new MacPro (the one that looks like a waste paper bin) hence the need for a good quality usb 3 hub which this certainly is.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware, 24 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought my mother a new iPod Nano (7th Generation) on Amazon for her birthday and was looking for an iPod dock/speaker unit to go with it, to work with the new lightning connector. My brother has a previous Gear4 model which seemed okay, but this one was a massive disappointment, it simply does not work with the new iPod Nano, no sound, nothing... All you can do (after the Gear4 finally recognises the iPod) is press play/pause and alter the (non-existent) volume. It claims on the box to be able to be used with the new iPod Nano and iPhone 5. The flexible iPod connector itself is rather annoying too.
I ordered a Philips DS7580 instead after reading reviews on the Amazon U.S site, wish I'd done that in the first place.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great British institution, 7 Oct. 2013

Fascinating stuff, I am about half way through the book and I only got it a few days ago! Brings back fond memories of some fantastic bands, with stunning and beautiful cover artworks, both of which influenced my work as a photographer. If you like(d) 4AD and want to know some very thoroughly researched background information and insights into a highly influential record label/movement/era then this book certainly does the trick. Thanks Martin Aston.

1.0 out of 5 stars Style over substance, 6 Sept. 2013

Having tried out various mats on my new desk, which my Magic Mouse hates, I opted for this. It is bad if not worse than using the desktop itself. The mouse stutters around and tracking is poor. This one is going back.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sadly, but this is rather disappointing..., 9 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Monomania (Audio CD)
Whilst 'Halcyon Digest' was a work of utter brilliance and beauty that worked as a fantastic entity in itself on initial hearings the new album 'Monomania' is a bit of a sprawling mess to be frank. I have all the Deerhunter albums and most of the Atlas Sound stuff so am extremely familiar with the work of Mr Bradford Cox and when certainly 'Halcyon Digest' was one of my albums of that year this one is so far a big disappointment in comparison. Apparently Bradford Cox had a huge amount of songs for this new album and ditched lots, maybe it was the wrong ones? I hope to be proven possibly wrong in my thoughts towards this album in the future but at the moment I will not be rushing to listen to it again in any hurry. Sad but true.
