3.0 out of 5 stars NOT Cube At His Best, 24 Mar. 2006
Some of these reviews are stupid. This is Cube well into his career and NOT at his best. It's a good album, and it's nice to have for a real Ice Cube fan, but if you don't have them go for these first :
Ice Cube - AmeriKKKas Most Wanted
Ice Cube - Death Certificate
Ice Cube - The Predator
Ice Cube - War & Peace Volume 2 - The Peace Album
N.W.A. (Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren, DJ Yella) - Straight Outta Compton)
Westside Connection (Ice Cube, Mack 10, W.C.) - Bow Down
Then get this. Trust me.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's Not Often A Book Like This Comes Along, 28 Feb. 2005
This review is from: The Wu-Tang Manual (Paperback)
The first chapter is information about each member of the Wu-Tang which is dope. But then it gets really good! From theories of martial arts to information about the supreme alphabet and allah (arm leg leg arm head) and then onto the third chapter! Various tracks by Wu-Tang explained from C.R.E.A.M., Protect Ya Neck and Bring Da Ruckus to Impossible and Triumpth.
Im still reading the fourth and final chapter (or book) and so far its very interesting, from talk about producing equiptment to theories about the power of lyrics, its all good. Definately a good read and something you'll refer back too time and time again.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Interesting Debut..., 8 Feb. 2005
This review is from: Liquid Swords (Audio CD)
The Genius is often in the back while his clan's in the front. With this album GZA finally steps into the lime light, and it is excellent.
Laying his lyrics over the RZA's once again excellent production, GZA has stories galore. From 'Liquid Swords' to the sublimely worded 'Labels' and the excellent 'Shadow Boxin' GZA's double meanings and hidden codes will evade everyone the first thousand times of listening.
Always a favourate and well worth the money and this album is definately a top 3 Wu-Tang effort and probabily a top 10 all time effort for hip-hop.
If you dont already own a copy, you should.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perhaps the best rap album of all time., 11 Oct. 2004
This review is from: Ready To Die (Audio CD)
From the crazy alter ego's on 'Gimme the loot' and the perfect flow with METHOD Man on 'The What', the feel good factor of 'Juicy' and the hard hitting rhymes of 'Warning' amongst others, B.I.G. comprises what is perhaps the best rap album of all time. The only albums which compare in my view are GZA's - Liquid Swords and Wu-Tang's Enter the Wu.
A true masterpiece and must have for any hip-hop fan.
