An excellent debut novel from the talented Jessica Hill. Set against a spectacular backdrop of an African safari, this fast-paced whodunit expertly weaves together a colourful cast of characters and takes you on a rollercoaster of twists and turns, packed deep with emotion.
With the occasional direct reference to the classic tales of Agatha Christie, Jessica's story of secrets, deception, passion and love continue that author's genre in a manner I'm sure the great lady would have been proud.
I hope this isn't the last we have seen of the Annie Fairbanks character, and I'm certain this isn't the last we have heard from Jessica Hill.

4.0 out of 5 stars The world's greatest band reinvent themselves, 31 May 2003
This review is from: Reload (Audio CD)
If you want to buy this because you want more of the early 90's Metallica sound you will be disappointed.
If you approach this album realising this great band must reinvent themselves to stay alive there is much on offer. Fantastic playing, well thought out song structures and new sounds. If they had continued to pump out the same sort of songs that feature on the fantastic Master of Puppets album, Metallica would have become parodies of themselves and would no longer exist by now.
A very good album, the way forward. (But let's not forget the past)
