5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and cheerful, 17 Mar. 2011
Does what it's meant to, build quality is pretty good considering the price. The rotatary action is smooth enough, though it isn't perfect. Would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin, 17 Mar. 2011
A pretty comprehensive overview of the philosophy of maths. The main thrust of the book is philosophical, and I feel it did a very good job of introducing a lot of different views on the subject. Although I am a maths student at university, I think the maths would be accessable to most people.

Lays Stax Original (Pack of 17)

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good for the price, 26 Dec. 2010
The build quality is surprisingly good for the price; it feels cheaper than the £20 one apple sells, but it is a much better option I think. Does exactly as you would expect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great watch, 28 Mar. 2009
I've only had this watch for a couple of days, but I already love it. I got this watch primarily for the large digital display, but it also sets the time automatically every night by radio ("waveceptor"), so you don't need to fiddle around setting the time. It also comes with all the standard features for a digital watch: stopwatch, timer, alarm, world time, backlight, date & day of the week. The watch isn't as heavy as it looks, as the back of it is mostly plastic, but you wouldn't notice unless you took it off.

The watch strap is easy enough to change, if you have a small screwdriver to hand and don't mind a little work. For those of you who are having trouble doing this yourself, I'll tell you how I did it. You just stick the screwdriver (or whatever you're using) in the little hole in the back of the link, in the deeper part of the hole (the side nearer to the centre of the link), and push the screwdriver towards the edge of the link. This should push the pin out a little; you'll probably need to do this a few times. You can then either pull the pin out with a good pair of pliers, or stick the screwdriver in the hole, but on the left side under the metal cover, and push up the pin again (using a different part of the pin). By now the pin should be far enough out to be pulled out by hand. Before you start taking all the links out though, you should probably check you're going to end up with the butterfly clip on the right part of your wrist, or it will be uncomfortable. Also, the small length adjustment on end the butterfly clip can be changed by pushing the pin in with a needle or similar. If you have trouble changing the strap, I'd imagine most jewellers or watchmakers would do it for you for free or a nominal fee.

Anyway, I'd highly recommend this watch to anyone who prefers big digital displays to hands, and doesn't mind having a big watch.

Sennheiser MX 760 - High Quality Earphones With Basswind-System - Black
Sennheiser MX 760 - High Quality Earphones With Basswind-System - Black

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good earphones, 28 Mar. 2009
These Sennheiser earphones turned out to be a really good buy. Although the finish, plastic with a slightly cheap feel to it, underneath the skin they sound really good. Unlike some earphones, they have pretty good bass. However, I prefer the fuller bass of slightly in-ear earphones like the Sony MDR-ED21LP earphones.
Some people might find it useful to be able to take most of the cord off the earphones, but I find it an annoying weight on my ears.

For me, the sound quality of these earphones outweighs the disadvantages. However, I'd recommend the Sony MDR-ED21LP earphones more, as they sound better to me, and they're cheaper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, CD even better, 28 Mar. 2009
This is a great compilation of the best worst-case scenarios of the series, but what makes this such a great book is the CD that comes with it - This CD contains every book from the series in PDF form, so this is the cheapest way to acquire the whole series, if you don't mind reading books on your computer.
Highly recommended

3.0 out of 5 stars Good the price, but doesn't quite fit the 5th gen ipod, 28 Mar. 2009
For the price, this is a pretty good quality case. But be warned: this case does not fit the 5th generation ipod classic quite as well as it should. I had to cut a bigger hole so that I could put my earphones in my ipod.
Overall, a good case for the price, but I've seen better. Consider other options if you have a 5th generation ipod.
