4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality cheap phone protector., 5 Mar. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good quality, great price and quick delivery. It's got micro-grooves along the sides for better gripping.
It's not made of a horrible rubber that feels nasty on your skin or grips to your pocket.
It feels like decent quality and overlaps the screen slightly to protect the phone when face down.
The screen protector didn't come with instructions therefore I fudged it when trying to apply, hence the 4 stars, not 5.

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage. Now in the bin., 22 Nov. 2013
Absolute rubbish. They fall out of your ear unless you are perfectly still. When you walk along the clunky mic/remote bounces about making a thudding noise over your music. The remote pauses when you try to change volume and vice versa. The wire isn't tangle free at all.

A few months after buying them (and rarely using them due to their fiddliness) they broke. First the remote stopped working, and then one of the ear pieces stopped working. They're now sat in my bin. A £2 fake Sony pair I bought from a market in Vietnam was better than these!

This is the second one I've bought. It does what you need. The wire isn't too long or too thick. The socket head is thin enough to fit through any phone case you might have (a previous product wasn't). Delivered promptly and great value.

2.0 out of 5 stars Clunky and impractical, 11 Sept. 2013
I bought these to replace my long serving iphone earphones (4S version) so needed something with remote and mic. They are less tangly than the iphone's but still not 'tangle-free'.
Essentially though, they're just too fiddly and heavy in the wrong places, so that the earbuds themselves are constantly getting pulled out of your ears. This is down to the earsbuds being too heavy, and the wire separator (between single and double wires) having a heavy plastic part. Also the volume control is huge. Unless you sit perfectly still, you'll be constantly pushing these back into your ears.
They're noisy too when you're listening to your music it's drowned out by the sound of the mic and wires flapping about and hitting yourchest, especially when walking.
Sounds quality is decent and when properly in your ears, they do block out outside noise reasonably well.
I wouldn't buy again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very good, 7 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The connection to the bottom of the iphone is very loose, so often comes out whilst using. Even if it doeesn't fully come off, connection will come and go so you get the 'iphone connected' noise every few seconds. The wire that plugs into the receiver is also very loose and will come off easily.

The reception you get isn't very good and there is always a high-pitched noise constantly, like you're listening to an MW radio station with bad reception. Moving the receiver around just makes the high pitch go louder or quieter but it's always there.

The remote is very tough and unresponsive.

I'm going to buy a transmitter that plugs into the earphone socket as this caused me no problems before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surely Emo cannot be topped by this brilliant album, 22 Oct. 2003
This review is from: Clarity (Audio CD)
Like most Jimmy Eat World fans, Bleed American was my first purchase, and it gave me a taster of the emo genre that I hadn't experienced before. It left me wanting more. So I searched out Clarity, and wasn't disappointed. It has both the chilled out melodies and energetic riffs that you'd learn to expect from Jimmy Eat World. Highlights of the album include Table For Glasses, 12.23.95, For Me This is Heaven which has a piano melody that you'll fall in love with, Clarity with it's great bass line, Goodbye Sky Harbour at over sixteen minutes, is so diverse and experimental that you'll be glad that it's so long. And finally the best track on the album for me is Blister, as you can listen to this so many times and it never fails to get your blood racing. All in all this album is so good and the band is unique. It is better than Bleed American and deserves to be in your CD rack today!

5.0 out of 5 stars A refreshing take on punk-rock from the Blink boys., 29 May 2002
This review is from: Box Car Racer (Audio CD)
Boxcar Racer is a true sound of punk that is masterminded by Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker of well known So-Cal rockers Blink OneEightyTwo. On purchasing this album I wasn't sure whether to expect the sound of Blink 182 of old (Cheshire Cat), or a modern 'pop-punk' feel that Blink's latest record coughed up, but surprisingly it is neither. Instantly the album drags you into its punk-rock, angry melodies, and shows you more of what Blink 182 would be capable of without the corporate commercial big-wigs influence. The addictive vocals of Tom DeLonge are immediately recognisable as he whales out lyrics of depression and death. Tracks like 'Watch the World', 'Cat Like Thief' and 'Elevator', which incedently features the guests vocals of fellow Blink absentee Mark Hoppus, are superb with riffs and rhythms that you'll find yourself humming along to. The punk rock influences of bands like NOFX and Fugazi, that DeLonge wanted to incorporate in this album are evident throughout, especially in the track 'My First Punk Song'. This is truly a masterpiece and a must have for any self-respecting Blink or punk rock fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blink 182 are still the kings of punk rock, 8 April 2002
Blink 182's latest album offers a new sound of punk rock which is original and catchy, and is NOT what many haters are calling it, 'pop punk'. Every bands sound changes over the course of 10 years, and Blink 182 is no exception. Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is not as good as their previous albums Enema of the State, Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat but does offer some fantastic material that you would expect from the lads. Stay Together For The Kids is the best track on the album and is one of my favourite Blink songs. It is a somber track that you can release your anger to. I prefer it to Adam's Song. The album also boasts great tracks like First Date and Rock Show which you won't get tired of. I can't believe Blink can keep on coming up with such original material as this, as they have already made countless punk classics. Everytime I Look For You is another great tune that has the best start to any of Blink's songs.
This is a great album that proves once again that Blink OneEightyTwo are the best punk rock band ever!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Blink 182 set punk rock alight with this outstanding album, 8 April 2002
This review is from: Cheshire Cat (Audio CD)
Cheshire Cat is the latest addition to my Blink 182 collection and pleasantly surprised me with its melodic guitar riffs and superb lyrics. I hate trying to put my Blink albums in order of preference but this comes just behind Mark Tom and Travis Show, Dude Ranch and Enema of the State, and is on a par with TOYPAJ, although it is far more superior in terms of punkicity. The best songs that this album has to offer are Carousel, Touchdown Boy and Wasting Time. The album starts with the excellent Carousel which is a tune that you'll find yourself humming many a time. It's excellent intro and well scripted lyrics make it one of Blink's best songs. Touchdown Boy is just such a good track and includes the best chorus on the album. Peggy Sue is a classic that you'll find yourself playing time and time again. Cacophany is one of the slower tracks on the album but is still great, and is in great contrast to Sometimes which is so pacey that it is over before you know it, but still class. Wasting Time is one of my favourite Blink songs and comes just behind Dammit and Stay Together For the Kids. You can relate to the lyrics whilst the tune is instantly addictive. However many times you play this song, you won't get tired of it. Any self-endearing Blink fan should not be caught without this album as it is a touch of punk class.

5.0 out of 5 stars Punk Rock gets the midas touch from Blink 182, 8 April 2002
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Dude Ranch (Audio CD)
I became a massive Blink fan after hearing Enema of the State so I decided to get their previous album, Dude Ranch. I became hooked on Dammit which I still believe is their best work yet. This album is not as good as Mark Tom and Travis Show, which I see as a greatest hits album, but is equally as good as Enema of the State and slightly better than Cheshire Cat and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. The album is kicked off perfectly with the addictive Pathetic. Tracks like Dick Lips, Apple Shampoo, Josie and I'm Sorry, are all songs that you'll fall in love with, and Emo, Untitled and A New Hope all grow on you. This album is a must have for any Blink fan, and is genuine Blink 182 punk rock at its best!
