5.0 out of 5 stars Upbeat and enjoyable, 11 Mar. 2011
This review is from: Shootenanny! (Audio CD)
I like this album. As a long time Eels fan I somehow missed this one when it was released, and I certainly seem to have missed out!
I won't go through this track by track or anything but suffice to say that it is one of E's more upbeat album's to say the least. Most of the tracks you can happily nod along to (especially the ever-so-slightly-funky Lone Wolf) yet still retains that special emotional something that you get with most of the Eels work.
If you like Eels get this. If you don't, why are you reading this? (But buy it anyway, you may just be converted!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Good sound, easy to use., 11 Mar. 2011
As the title says really - these headphones have a pretty good sound and are a synch to use. The bass is reasonable too. You can get a slight hiss in between tracks on the odd occasion but not to the point that it's a problem at all. They are also very easy to use - all you have to do is make sure you do a 24 hour charge first of all and then use 'em! After use just hang them on the rail of the transmitter and they charge up - simple and easy.
I've never been out of range with them (although my garden isn't a tenth of a kilometre as the range is over 100m!!), and there has been no interference in my home as yet.
A few people have mentioned that the volume and tuning wheels are close and so they've turned the wrong one but in practice it simply isn't a problem - the top one is the volume and the bottom one isn't - it really isn't that hard!
My only real gripe is that they aren't that soundproofed for people in the same room who can hear that annoying ting-ting-ting in the background, but then they aren't the most expensive set by far.
So, in summary, good sound and easy to use + pretty good value.
