As others have pointed out, when the emitter is extended the button on the handle does not function, instead you have to use the bottom button to get the LED to light up and the sound to activate. Whilst this is annoying it doesn't detract from the overall fun that much and I would still recommend this to any fan of the series. I used mine as part of a cosplay for the 50th Anniversary Convention and it worked and looked great. It feels plastic, but (shockingly) it is! Although I have not used it for long, it feels sturdy and well built enough that I would expect it to stand up to smaller hands over a long period of time.

Recommended for fans of all ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for C# developers, 26 Nov 2013

I have this book in my bag at all times and regularly use it for reference at work. The book is written in a very approachable manner, and whilst it could be read cover-to-cover, it easily allows you to jump in at any point and start reading a particular topic. Each topic in the book is covered enough for you to get a good grasp on it, and shows you the right way to do things.

The examples in the book are clear and concise and can even be loaded into LINQPad (recommended) extremely easily to allow you to run and modify them to see what is going on.

This is the one book all C# developers should own.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful cards, 26 Nov 2013

The cards are excellent quality and not only look beautiful, but also feel really nice to handle. They have a good rigidity to them and have a slightly glossy, but textured, finish. These are my second pack of Bicycle cards as the first pack vanished after a party (not surprised as they are quality cards). The finish on the cards looks like it would be easy to wipe them clean if needed, though I have not spilt anything on them, and don't intend to. Even the box they come in is good quality and durable.

This cable works perfectly with all my android devices (Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus), and has worked with every USB device I have plugged into it without any need for extra apps. Other reviews say you need to pay for apps to use USB flash drives with this cable, this is false. There are many excellent, free, file manager apps out there that will allow you to move/copy files to/from a flash drive using this cable.

Some reviews have moaned about the fact the cable comes out the device at a 90 degree angle, complaining it interferes with the headphone socket on some devices and puts stress on the USB port. The cable is flexible enough that you can easily move it out of the way of other ports and something simple like a USB flash drive will simply not put excessive force on the port. Sure, if you had something heavier like a portable hard drive plugged in it may put a lot of force on the port, but why would you have a portable hard drive plugged in without anything to support it?

If you're looking to connect a USB device to your Android device then this is the cable you want.
