I Love Ruth's Recipes, 11 April 2013
I have been a keen follower of the Pink Whisk blog since Ruth appeared on the Great British Bake Off and I can safely say every recipe of hers I have ever followed has turned out brilliant. This book is no exception. I have just made the Victoria sponge cake and its the nicest I've ever made. The instructions are so easy to follow and are fool proof.
I have 3 boys like Ruth so I don't have time shopping for random ingredients I've never heard of, and that's what I like about Ruth's recipes. They are simple yet taste far superior to more complex recipes.
The cake recipes all appeal to me and the combinations used are just up my street, like ginger and lime drizzle cake. Great book think I might have to ditch all other baking books and stick to this one.
