4.0 out of 5 stars Good game, but not the same as the old ones, 29 Mar. 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Having played the demo, using the tip for NOD from one of these reviews, it is a good game. However there are some things missing, like many people say here, from the old C&C's. For instance like one person wrote they seem to have added a terrorist element to NOD, with millitanunits and fanatics and such like. This is irritating because i kinda get the idea EA is trying to sell this game by saying 'lets kill the evil middle east people', the popular enemy, which by a strange coincidence is where NOD was meant to be based. The graphics though are much better than the other C&C's (should be expected), and the units in the game are quite cool. Thoguh as i said its lost some of the C&C magic, for example all the units here die in the same way unlike when the lasers used to t frissle peeps and the radiationg used to melt them. Also the units have been changed aso that now machine guns will do nothing against tanks, and rockets will take down a mamoth tank reasonably eaasily, and tanks cannot kill the lowest level infantry but buggies can. I a way this is better but it is irritating also that infintary units are now in squads, when it was kinda fun to be able to train very fast hordes of mg infantry which could be individually controlled.I would say that this is a good game I would reccomend getting (from what ive seen) but if your a die hard C&C fan you may be slightly disappointed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Overated, 29 Mar. 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Originally when i bought fable I thought it was very good, and it is quite fun, but to be honest the way people talk about it is overating it. It is a very small world compared to most RPG's and thw way people often says its better than halo is rubbish, that game started bascially all modern shoot em' ups. Anyway if you want to buy a good RPG get oblivion or jade empire because really compared to most RPG's this is miles behind even for its time, its possibly better for those who havent played many RPG's before, howver.
