Genuinely quite stunned that it got to what I was thinking so quickly. Will be spending a few lunch hours trying to fool it.. lol

One of the better free apps of the day! Just spent an hour playing it without realising where the time has gone. Nice blend of strategy and reflexes. Good visuals and sounds too. Will keep entertained for quite a while :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Rockstar does it again!, 8 May 2010
First off, I have played other GTA games for the PSP and whilst they do have 'proper' 3D (Chinatown is still 3D, but from an overhead view)and real music, I found this to be the more engrossing title.

In fact the lack of spoken cutscenes and proper music meant that I could play this at work withound having the sound up too loud and still follow the storyline.

When I first loaded up I thought that the overhead view would be an annoyance but it didnt seem to be unless you were travelling under a train track and bumped into the unseen police car who would then give chase...

Anyhoo, loads to do. I spent a lot of the time looking for hidden street races and making a lot of cash with drug deals which had nothing to do with the story.

Get it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Demo is very promising, 10 Sept. 2008
This review is from: Pure (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
As with other reviews I can only go by the demo which is top notch. Arcadey handling is spot on as is the risk vs reward. To gain boost you must perform tricks during the jumps. The better and more varied you make these then the more boost you get, however if you crash then you lose a fair chunk of that boost (and the ability to do more complicated tricks). Multiple routes through the course adds to the replayability. Excellent graphics and sounds AND has a promising music track list. Not forgetting 16 players online means that this should be a right hoot. Fingers crossed that it wont go the way of Flatout and get forgotten pretty quickly...
