5.0 out of 5 stars Great read at any time, 29 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I love anything written by Stuart Maconie. This book is not quite what I expected though. Rather than being a completely new entity, it is a collection of his previously published magazine articles. None the worse for that mind. Each is a separate little gem, with all the erudition, variety and good sense that we expect from Stuart.

It's a good read, only managed to encourage my wife in to one of the scenes so far, but it was superb.

Bought for teenage son, he read it cover to cover. Very readable and well written, a sensible approach to investment delivered in a fun way. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what we needed, 8 Jan. 2011
Haven't yet tried the Blu Ray drive, but this is a very smooth machine which is exactly what we needed as a present for my son and to add an extra computer to the household. very quick to fire up (and to shut down), lovely keyboard and sharp screen.

1.0 out of 5 stars But it doesn't work....., 29 Dec. 2004
....unless you happen to have the named games in its list.
Ijust bought a new PS2 with
The Incredibles,
Tiger Woods 2005
Simpsons Hit and Run
TIF 2005
Eye Toy 2
Singstar
ISS2
The Sims
together with a lovely flat screen monitor and this Blaze VGA adapter. It doesn't work with ANY of the above games.
The manual claims that if you want to add any games which are not on the list then you can visit their web site for updates.
I have been there and no updates exist.
I shall now be looking for another adapter which works.
