One of the large green stones was very poorly cut resulting in a rather dull stone. Apart from that they look lovely. They come in a tacky, budget, black "velvet" bag... for 40 I'd expect a box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finest mouse Ive ever owned, 28 Feb 2012
I've owned this mouse since 2007 and it is yet to let me down. I scripted the thumb wheel to a cut/copy/paste function which makes my work flow much smoother. I customised all the other buttons to carry out tasks in different environments and the logitech setpoint software handled it all very well.

As the mouse is now 5 years old I'm starting to think about replacing it, but having had a look out there..... there isn't really any competition in terms of a wireless mouse with all these functions.

3.0 out of 5 stars excellent topic, but..., 23 Sep 2011
The author spends 250 or so pages telling us how awful this new personalised internet is (which I agree with), but only 6 and a half pages on how to defend against it!

6.5 pages??!!! Are you kidding me? You think this is such a serious issue that your write a 250 page book but only make the effort to knock out 6.5 pages in the "what you can do" section?

The section on how to defend yourself contains no mention of:

Firefox
Linux
Tor
Java script blocking

Pretty poor effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic legal advice, 1 April 2011
I do not own this knife, but it is refreshing to see a vendor pointing out the ridiculous knife laws in this country (UK) to their customers. If you have a lock knife in your car (such as a leatherman/gerber multi tool or as used in 99% of "rescue" knives) you are breaking the law.

If a cop pulls you over and say breathalyses you but you pass the test.... the cop will probably decide to search you car in an attempt to get a collar. Upon finding your leatherman (or other knife with a locking blade) you WILL be charged with the offence of carrying a fixed blade knife in a public place. The law considers your car as a public place [ see Knox v Anderton (1982)] and considers a folding knife with a locking mechanism to be a fixed blade knife [see Crown vs Harris 1993 and Crown vs Deegan 1998]. You will therefore be in contravention of the Criminal Justice Act (1988).

People do get criminal convictions for this on a regular basis. We can all agree that the law is unfairly restrictive, but that is what the law is.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading photo, 7 May 2008

The photo shows two glasses when infact you only get one. At 40 its a very expensive and unremarkable wineglass.
