This razor is exceptional the handle is four inches long with a knurled pattern which ensures a firm grip even with wet soapy fingers. It really is worth every penny. The quality of the shave is outstanding with no issues even for a novice like me.
I thought this product was a tad expensive, however once I unwrapped it it was immediately obvious that this was a well made well engineered product. The four clamps hold the tree firmly in position and the large heavy base ensures the tree will not topple over. The large water reservoir also keeps the tree well hydrated.
Having read numerous comments regarding the sharpness of these blades I had to try them. What is impressive is the sharpness is retained far longer than I expected, I am on shave number 6 on the same blade and the performance is still impressive. I will be staying with this brand.
Having recently returned from holiday where I was shaving with a disposable razor with 6 (yes 6) blades in it,I decided to get back to basics with shaving and ordered the blue beard razor and shaving cream while still on holiday. If my face was the same size and shape as a Kellogs Cornflake box the 6 blade razor would have performed well. I now look forward to a shave and enjoy the precise cutting edge of a single blade. This razor is total quality, and when used with the blue beard shaving cream applied with a brush the quality of the shave is far superior to using disposable razors. I have experienced no skin irritation using this razor.
