5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely recommend for 5-8yr olds, 24 Oct 2014

This book is brilliant! We have used it most days of our two week holiday; on the plane, airport layover, restaurants and downtime. The fact that each page is a different activity prevents the user getting bored. Our 6 (and a half...) year old son has a relatively short attention span but loved it, and other diners in our group liked joining in with some of the puzzles and games. I can not recommend this book highly enough and will probably buy another one for the next time we travel.

I would say that a child between 5-8 would get a lot from the book, but family members either side of this age would too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value & all 8 of our dogs like it., 4 Dec 2011
Good to have a big bag of dog food delivered straight to the door. We have 6 working sheepdogs & two spaniels all of whom enjoy this feed. I buy a couple of flavours to give the dogs variety.
Good value for money too.

3.0 out of 5 stars not the book that you expect but...., 4 Dec 2001
This book was bought with current architecture and buildings in mind but covers everything from the year dot. Pyramids and the building of the great Roman empire to le corbusier design and the fantastic Seville airport. This would be a good book to buy for someone who was looking to study architecture but wanted a good base knowledge of the theory. The book is very well laid out and has just the right level of information. It is a good size for a backpack for reading when you get a chance - not just a book but a hive of information with little ditties added in about architects, buildings and good examples of photo's. It is also a nice reference book and quite inspirational to the architect in our house.
