A very good little self contained story.A good appetizer, setting the scene nicely for the novel to follow, The City.

Entertaining enough story leaving lots of unanswered questions. It was more like an introduction to a longer story. Enjoyed it though.

Written as an introduction to the forthcoming novel Innocence this story sets the scene nicely. Leaving the reader with lots of unanswered questions it certainly whets the appetite for what is to follow.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Day in The Life, 11 July 2013

A very entertaining ,fast paced read. Giving a good insight Into the recording of one of the most significant releases of all time. I don't know how much of the dialogue is fact or fiction but it was immensely enjoyable.

3.0 out of 5 stars Abracadabra maybe, but not totally magic., 19 Jun 2013

Quite a good read with a lot of interesting facts, but gets bogged down with too many technical details. I,m not really bothered if George Martin wore a tie. ( George Harrison probably didn't like it anyway way) Still, it did reveal some little known bits of trivia. Definitely worth a purchase at the price with some interesting observations of life in sixties London.

3.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining read, 24 Feb 2013
Quite a fast paced story and an entertaining read. I gave it only three stars because it lacks the depth and intricacy's of his full length stories. It leaves the reader with more questions than answers. I would recommend this to long term fans only.

I gave this story only two stars because to give it more would rank it along side Stephen Kings longer and much better stories. Having said that I enjoyed it. A very entertaining story which could have been explored further in longer form. I would recommend it to fans but people new to Stephen King would be better starting elsewhere.
