Well presented, easy to read. I am very happy with the format. No problem.with the download. Indexing could be clearer.

Costume of Prelates of the Catholic Church, According to Roman Etiquette (Classic Reprint)
Costume of Prelates of the Catholic Church, According to Roman Etiquette (Classic Reprint)
by John Abel Felix Prosper Nainfa
Edition: Paperback
Price: £8.11

3.0 out of 5 stars Reprint of classic, 8 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a cheap (non-expensive) reprint of a classic work on a rather abstruse subject. The style is, of course, dated ... and often pedantic, but reflects the times and pre-occupations of the Church (and churchmen) when it wasd first written. Illustrations have not fared well: they are often blurred and indistinct.

Today's Deacon: Contemporary Issues and Cross-Currents
by Alfred C. Hughes

4.0 out of 5 stars Good summary of curent debate, 8 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The book is written by "insiders" who know their subject and who try to treat it objectively and in a moderate fashion, aware that there is still significant debate in the Church about the meaning and best use to be made of deacons in today's world.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully produced ... and seriously flawed!, 8 Dec 2012

This review is from: Church Visible, The (Hardcover)
as in the first edition, the illustrations - especially the heraldic ones - are beatiful. Noonan has made significant changes, some of which constitute improvements. His treatment of rites other than Roman in the Church is facile at best and wrong at worst; he should have submitted his text to a liturgical historian before publication! Although he indulges his penchant for sycophancy less in this second edition, he still lets his sentiments over-rule his good sense and literary good taste at times.

usual fluent narration in impeccably written Spanish; just what I would expect from Perez Reverte. It is a very entertaining any easy read.
