5.0 out of 5 stars The most stylish battery charger and batteries out there. Nice cross country functionality., 25 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Another solid Apple product. The set comes with 6 silvery AA batteries (as in the image) and the charger in typical Apple thick white acrylic.

What you don't see in the picture is that the actual plug detaches the same way it detaches with the chargers of the rest of Apple's line-up (e.g. iPad, iPhone, MacBook etc.). That way when you are travelling you can still use Apple's travel adapter pack and plug in a different country's plug. Pretty neat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice design and materials, pretty functional but should have included a lanyard, 25 Feb. 2014

I like the Manfrotto cases. They have contemporary and understated designs and they are also well made.

This case is suited for a higher-end compact cameras in terms of size but won't fit interchangeable lens cameras (e.g. micro four thirds etc.).

My only issues is that it didn't include a lanyard (or a way to attach one). The way I use it is have a wrist strap on the camera and then zip this so that the wrist strap is hanging out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good performance for a good price - attached to a Synology NAS, 25 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to allow my Synology NAS to be wirelesly connected.

I plugged it into the extension cable and then to the NAS, logged into DSM and then I only needed to enter my WiFi details in Network.

That was it. Has been running flawlessly and smoothly since.

For £22 pounds I liked the simplicity and no-issue functionality. Plus it looks the part too!

Pretty happy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Expected it to be brighter, 25 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought one for my nightstand to replace a 13W CFL. This LED lamp is significantly dimmer however.
I think the main reason is the arc in which light is projected; for this LED lamp light is project at a smaller angle just directly in front of the bulb (i.e. hitting the ceiling instead of diffusing around the room), whereas the CFL (and incandescent lights) spread the light around them at a larger angle.

Otherwise colour is good (i.e. warm white as described) and size is manageable (other LED bulbs are longer).

5.0 out of 5 stars Already a classic, 28 Jan. 2013
This is just a brilliant, liberating and more importantly fun to shoot camera.

Now I know that Fuji will release the X100s with a range of improvements but I would still rather go for the X100.

First of all is the price, which currently is a steal (the newer X100s is twice the price!). You can't get this image quality for this money right now, period.

Second I much prefer the 12MP sensor: smaller-sized files but the resolution is so good you can even use them at 100%, i.e. without the need to resize them. Also you will be restricted with the RAW files of the 16MP X-Trans sensor of the X100s as there is currently limited support in programs like Lightroom. I also have the X-E1 with the new X-Trans sensor and honestly the images look flatter, especially in low light.

The only real benefit of the new X100s over this model would be autofocus speed but personally I've never had a serious issue with it.
