5.0 out of 5 stars Infuriating..., 31 July 2012

...but so enlightening. Everyone who ever pays a penny/cent/euro into this organisation should be made to read this book. The people who run the EU make Caligula look like a choir boy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, 3 May 2011

Good product. Easy to use. Works well. Great if you are travelling - just buy a SIM card and surf at local rates. Would also be good for students who have no fixed line internet in their digs. You can run 5 devices off it at the same time.

2.0 out of 5 stars How long ?, 5 Aug. 2010
Whilst the content is ok make sure you buy the DVD version. It has extra tracks. The "normal" CD version has only 26 minutes of music, which for a full price CD is taking the p*ss.

2.0 out of 5 stars Kid Pop, 21 Mar. 2008
This review is from: Rock N Roll Jesus (Audio CD)
After the master blasting of previous CDs I found this collection very disappointing. Unless you like pop rock or country and western, you'll feel pretty cheated. Where is the heavy rock, the hip hop ? Bring it back.

5.0 out of 5 stars A true classic, 7 Sept. 2006
Every now and then a heavy metal album comes along that is a classic - such as Metallica's Black album, Def Leppard's Hysteria etc, and this falls very definitely into that category. Rather than rely on a riff and a chorus like many tired bands, they have put together long and well structured tracks, with fabulous solos and thumping tunes. This is a MUST for any fan of heavy metal. This is Iron Maiden at their very best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just buy it, 20 May 2006

This CD is truly excellent - it has more quality songs in one CD than most so called rap artists manage to produce in a career. It is a captivating listen, and unlike virtually every other rap CD I have bought you never get bored, skip a track or press the eject button before it is finished. I really hope he does a follow up.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Cautionary Tale, 20 May 2006
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Mr. China (Paperback)
Having lived in Hong Kong for a few years, this book is so true to the way the Chinese conduct their business, it is a must read for anyone thinking of doing business in mainland China. The Chinese almost having a sneaking respect for a good fraud, and the chances of a foreigner receiving justice from Chinese court is virtually none existant. The stories are all true and at times beggar belief.

This review is from: Panic Nation (Paperback)
This is a fantastically informative book, packed with myth busting facts and an insight into the world of corporate, pressure group and government propaganda. My only question is - how do the people that propagate these myths actually get away with it ?

1.0 out of 5 stars Dreadfully unreliable, 21 Aug. 2005
I bought my first iPod 3 years ago. Since then I had FIVE. They simply jam up and don't work. Thankfully the first four were under warranty and were replaced (they didn't have a clue how to repair them). It is still a pain re downloading all the songs again. The last one was just out of warranty, and probably only lasted for more than a year because I hadn't used it for 7 months due to a house move. I wouldn't touch another one of someone gave it to me. Just look at the page after page of problems on the forums to iPod's own website.
I have now bought the Sony Walkman 20Gb. It is easier to use, smaller, lighter and have a 40 hour battery life. An all round much better product.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great mix, 8 Mar. 2005
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have to admit buying this with some trepidation, but I found that there is an excellent mix of old and new, with different styles which works very well. An worthwhile addition to any collection, and a great taster of bands you may want to delve into a little deeper.
