This book reveals a missing link between business and (agile) delivery teams.
When working with user stories, I always had problems with getting business people involved or engaged. We were often ending up with too many or too detailed stories.
I believe that impact mapping is a solution to these problems since maps focus on rather high level goals (compared to stories) and consider multiple solutions. Introducing impact maps should increase our focus on achieving business goals, rather than blindly implementing features without hearing an honest answer to the question: "Why are we doing this in the first place?".
I can't wait to try it out.
